Unit 2 What time do you go to school?Section A(1a-2d)第一课时教学设计【学习目标】知识目标:1. 词汇:1)名词n. dress, brush, tooth, shower 2)副词adv. up, usually, never, early 3)动词 v. dress, brush, shower 4)数词 num. forty, fifty 5)词组 get up, get dressed, take a shower2. 句型:What time do you usually get up? I usually get up at six thirty.能力目标: 1.学习时间的表达法,以及如何询问时间。 2. 能熟练使用时间的表达法。 3. 能掌握并使用目标语言What time do you usually ?来询问对方的作息时间。 4. 能够准确的使用时间表达法以及频率副词usually,never和always来表达自己的日常作息时间安排。情感目标:了解时间的重要性,学会珍惜时间并合理利用时间。【学习重难点】询问具体时刻的句型与表达时刻的简单方式。【学习过程】 Step 1. Warm-up(课堂热身)(1) Daily greetings to the Ss.(2) Show the teaching aims.(3) Watch a video.【设计意图】首先出示学习目标,目的是便于学生了解本节课的任务与需要掌握的知识;另外,本课时首先要让学生学会的便是是时间的表达法,所以,以与时间有关的视频导入,便于给学生以提示和形象直观的认识。Step 2. Preparation (课堂准备)1. Present some pictures of activities. Help students to understand these new phrases: get up, eat breakfast, get dressed, brush teeth, take a shower, go to school. At the same time, review the learnt phrases: go home, do homework.2. Watch and match.Show ten pictures and let the students match them with the given phrases.3. Work on 1a (完成1a)(1) Match the activities with the pictures. (2) Check the answers. 【设计意图】出示图片并进行图片短语匹配训练的目的是为了学生更好地完成1a, 降低1a的难度,让学生在轻松愉快的氛围中进入后续大量活动,增强学生积极参与课堂的意识。Step 3. Presentation (呈现新知识)1.Give students three basic ways about how to express time. Help students master the ways and prepare for the following activities.Present some pictures of clocks. Ask students how to say the time.T: Look, what time is it?Ss: Its s eight oclock/ eleven fifteen/ three thirty/ half past six/ twelve oclock/ seven fifteen.Teach Ss how to use what time/oclock.Have Ss practice saying them. 【设计意图】知识传播是基础,当讲解完时间的表达法后,借助图片认识并用英文表达时间是最简单有效的方法之一,学生通过图片,能更好地掌握表达时间的方式。2. Work on 1b (完成1b)(1)Listen and match the times with the activities. Draw lines from the clocks to the pictures.(2)Check the answers: Let a student give the answers like this: take a shower at six forty【设计意图】此环节着重是听力训练。让学生在听对话的过程中抓住关键词汇时间,由于前面已做了足够的铺垫,因此学生听起来难度不大,让学生首先体验到成功,可以增强他们的学习自信心。3. Work on 1c (完成1c)(1)Student A is the interviewer. Student B is Rick. Ask and answer questions about Ricks day. A: What time do you usually take a shower, Rick? B: I usually take a shower at six forty. (2) Leave students about one minute to practice this dialogue. Then choose five pairs to show their dialogues. 【设计意图】此环节是让学生运用所学句型来进行操练,有利于巩固所学句型。4. Work on 2a & 2b (完成2a和2b)(1)Lead in: A good plane is helpful to us in our daily lives. Jims family have good plans in their daily lives. For example, they have the shower schedule. Do you want to know some information about Jims family?(2)T: Now lets listen to the conversation and complete the sentences. (3)T: Can you get the answers? Please check the answers. (4)T: Please look at 2b. Ill play the conversation once again. Complete the shower schedule for Jims family.(5)T: What time does Bob take a shower? S: He usually takes a shower at 5:30【设计意图】此环节进一步巩固了本堂课所学的词汇和句型。通过反复听读,可以让学生尽快熟悉生词。学生填表格,是检查学生能否听懂并拼写所学的时间表达法,同时对学生进行情感教育,要求他们在生活学习中有计划地完成各项任务。5. Work on 2c (完成2c)Fill in the chart about your time schedule. Ask and answer questions according to your day time. A: What time do you usually ? Role play.(角色扮演)Present four tasks for students:Task 1: Listen and fill in the blanks.Interviewer: Scott has an interesting _. He works at a _.
