Section A (1a-2c) 教学设计 鹭鸶港初级中学 朱红梅1、 教材分析: 本课是Unit7的第一课时,本节课的主要内容是:初步了解如何询问天气及描述天气的状况的日常交际用语。本单元承接了上个单元的语法,还涉及到了现在进行时的表达。本节课是以上这些内容的基础阶段,并且天气贴近生活,这样对学生而言,还是比较容易的。通过本课的学习使学生掌握本节课出现的表达天气的形容词,询问天气的句式及灵活运用现在进行时态。二、学情分析1) 通过学习七年级地理和七年级的上册的英语,学生已经掌握了世界五大洲及主要国家的地理位置,并且他们基本懂得用英文表达并书写国家及城市的名字。2) 经过近一年的任务型语言教学的训练,大部分学生已经养成良好的英语学习习惯,能够在课堂上听懂老师的英文指令,并且能够根据老师的要求用目标语言完成各项任务。3) 天气的表达对学生来说是第一次出现的新语言。学生需要描述世界各地的天气状况和气温状况,新单词比较多,学生在记忆这些新单词时可能有一定的难度。因此教会他们运用构词法记忆单词在这节课显得犹为重要。三、教学目标1. 语言知识目标: 1) 能掌握以下单词: rain, windy, cloudy, sunny, snow, weather, cook, bad, park, 能掌握以下句型: Hows the weather in Beijing? Its sunny.2) 能用所学的知识描述天气情况。 3)描述正在发生的动作。 2. 情感态度价值观目标:教育学生善于观察天气,善于调整自己的情绪;了解世界各地的天气情况,增加世界观念。知道大自然的力量是神奇而伟大的,我们应当好好学习,立志学好科学知识,为长大后探索神奇的大自然,打好基础。 四、教学重难点1. 教学重点:The vocabulary and useful expressions. Hows the weather? Its raining/ windy. 2. 教学难点:运用目标语言来对天气进行问答,并且会问答其他人正在进行的活动。五、教学过程. Warming up 1. Greet the Ss and check the homework. 2. Talk about the weather. A: Whats the date today? B: Its A: The weather is good today. B: Yes, its sunny/cloudy/windy. . Presentation 1. (Show some pictures of the weather) Let Ss look at the pictures and ask them how the weather is. Ss learn the new words and expressions with the help of the pictures. 2. Look at the pictures in 1a. Then read the new words on the right. Ask the Ss to match the words with pictures. 1a Match the words with the pictures a-e. raining _ windy _ cloudy _ sunny _ snowing _3. Check the answers. Keys: abecd. Game (Hows the weather?)1. (Showing some pictures on the big screen.) Ask Ss Hows the weather?2. Ss guess and answer the question. . Listening 1. Now lets look at the city names in the box in 1b. Please read after me. Ss read the cities after the teacher. 1b Listen and write these city names in the boxes above.Beijing Moscow Toronto Boston Shanghai 2. Now, Well hear four conversations. Listen carefully, point out each city in the picture as it comes upon the tape. Play the recording a second time. Ask Ss to write the name of the city in the picture of its weather. 3. Check the answers. Keys: a Toronto b Boston c Beijing d Moscow e Shanghai. Pair work 1. Tell the Ss: If you are in one of the places in the picture above. Talk about the weather with your friends in another city on the phone. 1c Imagine you are in one of the places in 1a. Talk about the weather with your friend on the phone.2. Make a model with a student like this:T: Hi! Hows the weather in Beijing?S1: Its sunny. 3. Ss work in pairs. Ask and answer about the weather in the cities. Hows the weather in Shanghai? Its cloudy. Hows the weather in Moscow? Its snowy. Hows the weather in Toronto? Its raining. Hows the weather in Boston? Its windy. . Listening 1. Work on 2a. LetsseewhatJoesfamiliesaredoing.Pointtothe4pictures. 2. AskSstelleachpersonisdoingineachpicture.MoreattentionsshouldbepaidtothecorrectuseofthePresentProgressiveTense. 3. Language points.1. Its raining. rain 做动词,意为“下雨”。 e.g. 现在天津在下雨。 Its raining in Tianjin now. 【拓展】rain 做名词,意为“雨水”。 e.g. There is a lot of rain in summer in our city. 我们这里夏天雨量很大。2. Its windy. windy 多风的 cloudy 多云的 sunny 晴朗的 构词法:名词 + y 形容词 e.g. 今天宁夏风很大。 Its windy in Ningxia today. 3. Hows the weather in Beijing? 用于询问天气情况,可与Whats the weather like?互换,答语通常为“Its +描述天气的形容词或动词-ing形式.” weather 是不可数名词,意为“天气;气候”。 其前面不能用不定冠词 a 修饰,但可以用定冠词 the 或 bad/fine 等修饰;通常可以用 it 来指代。e.g. 春天在中国北部是多风的。 The weather is windy in spring in the north of China. 今天天气如何? 今天下雨。 Hows theweather today? / Whats the weather like today?Its raining / rainy. Homework一、总结有关天气的词汇。二、编写三个有关天气问答的对话。 1. windy 2. raining 3. snowy 六、教学反思、总结本节课主要学习有关天气的内容。这对于学生来说,应该还是比较容易的,因为非常贴近日常生活。所以,本节课内容并不是太难。对于单词的学习来说,有五个关于天气的单词虽然是新学,但学生很容易联想记忆,rainy sunny windy cloudy snowy 与我们以前学习的单词rain sun cloud 等很相像,只是词性不同,这就可以让学生了解一些构词法的初步知识,讲解一下如何+y ,从而把名词变成形容词,进
