I want to join the music club. What can you do? I can play the piano.2、复习已学词汇:basketball volleyball复习已学句型:Do you like? I like. I dont like. Lets .3、新词汇:Verbs of activity such as dance, swim, sing Names of musical instruments such as guitar, drums, piano, drums, trumpet,4、Grammar focus: Can you swim? Yes, I can. / No, I cant. Can he play chess? Yes, he can. /No, he cant. Can she speak English? Yes, she can. / No, she cant. Can you and Tom play chess? Yes, we can. / No, we cant. What can you do? I can dance. /I cant sing. What club do you want to join? We want to join the chess club. I want to join the basketball club.(二)单元教学目标:1、能力目标:(1)学会询问别人所拥有的技能 (2)根据相关信息表达自己所掌握的技能和意愿,想参加何种类型的俱乐部 (3)能够表达自己参加俱乐部的意愿和理由2、知识目标:(1)能听说读写课文中出现大纲要求掌握的单词 (2)要知道play +球、棋、牌play the +乐器 (3)要学会情态动词can的用法及其一般疑问句型的肯定和否定回答 (4)掌握询问别人所掌握的能力的方法3、情感策略、文化等有关目标:(1)通过对人物个性化的了解,认识对方 (2)跨学科学习:语言艺术、审美教育 (3)了解自己的能力,培养情操4、教学方法:直观教学法、情景教学、任务型教学法5、教学用具:录音机、电脑、卡通图片(三)单元重难点1、 本单元重点学习询问别人的能力2、情态动词can及动词play教学是本单元的难点(四)单元教学课时安排建议(4课时)第一课时 Section A第二课时 Section A第三课时 Section B第四课时 Self-check及处理一些练习册第二课时 Section A (2d-3c)(一)教材分析本课时主要是学习情态动词can的肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句,肯定与否定回答,以及特殊疑问句的构成和用法;复习what引导的特殊疑问句。本单元主要围绕“加人俱乐部,谈论自己的能力”这一话题,设计了四个任务型活动:任务一是:讨论自己和别人的才艺,想加入什么俱乐部,学习情态动词can的用法;任务二是:学习情态动词can的肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句,肯定与否定回答,以及特殊疑问句的构成和用法;任务三是:复习巩固谈论各自的爱好和特长的方法。自己建立俱乐部,运用情态动词can谈论自己在某一方面的能力、喜好和意愿;任务四是:学习招聘广告的写法。(二)教学目标通过学习情态动词can的用法,使学生能够表达自己在某一方面所具备的才能;能够谈论自己的喜好与意愿;能够为自己成立的各种俱乐部制作海报;会写招聘广告。重点难点I复习词汇:can,play,want2.词汇:guitar, dance, swim,sing, chess, speak, drum,trumpet,violin,play the guitar3句型:Can you/he/she/you dance?Yes,I/he/she/we canNo,I/he/she/we cantCan Bill play the guitar?Yes,he can,but he cant sing语法重点:情态动词can的肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句及肯定与否定回答、特殊疑问句的构成(三)学情分析 本单元的主题是运用情态动词Can谈论能力,通过对目标语言的学习使学生能够表达自己在某一方面所具备的才能;通过谈论彼此的特长与爱好培养一种群体意识。在以前的学习中,学生已经学习了一些行为动作的表达法,而教学“谈论能力”只是将情态动词can用于这些表达中;情态动词can在肯定句、否定句和疑问句中的构成,和学生已经学过的be动词的结构有相同的地方,教师在教学中要善于引导学生比较这两种结构的异同以加强记忆。(四)教学策略 采用Classifying,Roleplaying,Comprehending in context和Skimming的学习策略,利用教学图片或制作多媒体课件来展开课堂Pairwork问答式的口语交际活动、小组活动和写作练习,谈论各自的能力。本课时的教学法建议:语音教学:模仿操练;词汇教学:演示讲解、情景操练、反复使用;口语教学:互相操练、对话练习、交际活动;阅读教学:选词填空练习;听力教学:图文配对和对话选择;写作教学:填空造句、模仿写作;语法教学:总结规律、模仿操练。(五)教学用具:录音机、电脑、卡通图片(六)教学过程:Teaching ProceduresStep1 Revision1. Revise the activities, such as, play the guitar, swim, play chess etc. Ask some questions about can you ? What club do you want to join? Ask the students to revise the names of the clubs they have learnt. 2. Ask the students: Can she play chess? Can she play the guitar? Can he sing? What club does she want to join? Ask the student who says he can and he/she cant do.Step 2 PresentationTask 1 (Listening practice)Ask the students to listen to the conversation between Bob and Jane in 2d . Ask them to answer the following questions.1) What club does Bob want to join?2) What club does Jane want to join?2. And ask students to read the dialogue. Ask all of them to read carefully, then answer the questions.1) What sports can Bob play?2) Can Jane tell stories well?3) Does Jane like to draw? Check the answer, then explain the language points, be good at, and give examples.3. Fill in the chart. Answer the questions. What can Bob/Jane do? What club does Bob/Jane want to join?4. Ask the students to listen and repeat the dialogue.5. Practice the dialogue with their partners , make their own conversations.6. Translate. You are very good at telling stories. 听起来不错。 Task 2(Focus on Grammar)1. Ask the students to read Grammar Focus. Think about it:1) Can 的动词形式有什么特点?2) Can 随人称变化而变化吗?3) Can 的否定形式是 4) Can 一般疑问句结构是怎样的,肯定和否定回答分别是 2. Conclusions. Ask them if they can fill in the blanks. 3. Translate some Chinese sentences from Grammar Focus into English. Check the answer. 4. Finish 3a.Write questions and answers with the words and phrases. Step 3 PracticeTask 3 (Oral practice)1. Introduce a school show. Show the students the post in 3C.Talk about it, then ask the students if they want to join the school show and what they can do. There is a school show in the music room on Sunday. The time is 6:00. What can you do? What can your friends do?2. The teacher asks the students to make a survey, and fill in the blanks. Explain that students must find people for the school show and write their name s in the chart. Ask the students to practice the dialogues by asking: What can you do? Can you dance? Can you play the guitar? Can you play it well? etc. the teacher goes round the classroom , gives help if necessary.Name What can you do ?Li XinChinese Kung Fu3. Suppose you are a boss, you want to get some good workers. How to write an advertisement.Focus students on the advertisement. Then complete the advertisement with the words in the box, finish 3b.2.
