Good afternoon, everyone. My name is zhao pei. Im a student from School of foreign language. Im very happy to stand here and talk about my teaching dasign I will say something about unit1 sectionA in book 4 of PEP . Now I will say unit1 “what is the matter?” I am ready to begin this lesson from six parts. Part One Analysis nlss of the Teaching Material mtrilFirst, Status stets and function.This lesson is in Unit1. The topic is“Whats the matter ? “ Such a topic is related to our daily life, so it is helpful to improve students learning interest and their spoken Engish. It plays a very important part in this book.Second, Teaching aims. it can be divided into 3 parts: the knowledge aims, the ability aims and the emotional aims. The knowledge aims are to master new words and 4 sentences:1.Whats the matter with her/him? 2.She/he has a cold /headache/stomachache .3.what should I do? 4.You should see a dentist.The ability aims.it is to improve Students abilities, to let students learn to ask about health and trouble to improve the listening ability, the speaking ability, and so on. The emotional aim is that students can care about others and learn to give some suggestions to others.besides,let students know the importance of health and do more exercise to keep healthy .Third,Teaching emphasis emfss on the difficulties . it is that students can master the sentence structures and the expression of health and trouble in their book. besides learn to use word”should”.Part two Analysis of the students. As junior du:n(r) grade 2 students They have learned English for several years. They can understand some simple sentences. However, They seldom use English to to communicate. Some Students are not active in the class because they are afraid of making mistakes.so is necessary to use some pictures, games, PPT to attract their interest and get themselves involved in the class and let the class truly become student-centered sentdPart three Analysis of teaching methods In this lesson Ill mainly use scene teaching method, audio lingual di lgwl method ,task-based method , slide show and so on. using these methods is helpful to develop the Students listening, speaking, reading, writing and their good sense of the English language.Part four Analysis of learning methods. According to studentsfeatures, firstly, I will use tapetep recorder to make them fall into a habit to listen and say what they want to say.then I will use cooperativekoprtv method to make them do some pair work .Part five Analysis of teaching procedures.Step1 warm-upBefore this lesson,first, l will have an oral practice with students then I will play a song” apple” for students and let them sing it together. Students will be very active and relaxed .It is very good for me to lead in new knowledge.After sing the song,I will say “An apple a day keeps the doctor away”.After singingapple,do you think you are healthy?how do you feel now?let us learn the way we feel fi:l.then we will start our class.Step2 presentationFirst, I will Review rvju: the words about body parts and then learn some new words about ill .after that, teaching students to read them . besides, ask them to recite rsat the words.that is necessary for students to learn sentences.Second,I will play the tape for twice twas to help students to practice the sentences.of course ,it is good for improving studentslistening and speaking.Third,I will guide them to make dialogues dal .Then,I will ask them to do some practice and work in pair.Step3 consolidationI will let them do a role rl playing to make a conversation between a doctor and a patient. then we will do some exercises about what we have learned just now.Step4 summaryI will Check what the students have learned in this class and Summary the whole class grammar :what is the matter with sb? Sb have/has a . What should sb do? They should/shouldt do sthStep6 homeworkAfter the class ,they will have two tasks.one is reciting the new words.The other is practicing the conversations between the doctor and the patient.by this way ,they can learn better about what we have learned in the class.Part six Blackboard design.When they are working in pair .I will write down the key points in this unit On the black board .it can attract students interest.
