Review of Unit 7【教学目标】1复习本课时重点单词、短语。会读写本课时重点单词、短语。2能描述天气和用现在进行时描述正在做的事。能运用句型:(1)Hows the weather?/Whats the weather like?Its raining.(2)What are you doing?Im watching TV.3通过听谈论天气的对话,开展小组对话,学会用英语谈论天气。4能理解文章内容,提高阅读能力,能用现在进行时描述事件。5了解他人的假期生活,享受自己的假期。【教学重点】1.复习谈论天气的词汇和句型。2.能熟练运用现在进行时描述正在做的事。【教学难点】1.通过交流表达和听力训练谈论天气。2.能熟练运用现在进行时描述正在做的事。3.通过阅读和写作训练,提高读写综合能力。Step11.Play the tape,enjoy an English song.Its raining!2Greet the whole class and ask them some questions by showing some pictures.How is the weather?What are they doing?3Lead in a new topic by asking and answering the questions according to the pictures.Review the words,phrases,then students read together.询问天气的两种方式:(1)Whats the weather like?天气如何?(2)How is the weather?天气如何?Step 2.Run the train.Talk about the things you are doing one by one.For example :Its fine today and Im playing basketball on the playground.Step 3.Brainstorm.!Write the ing forms of the verbs. I think its hard work. 【发现】hard为副词,意为“努力地;艰苦地;难地”;也可作形容词,意为“困难的;艰苦的”。它可以用来形容“雨、雪量大”,常用于work hard at/on sth.,study hard等短语中。【拓展】(1)relaxing与relaxed的用法与区别 relaxing意为“令人放松的”,主语一般是物,指事物的性质。relaxed意为“放松的”。主语一般是人,指人的心理、生理的感受。如:The music is relaxing and all the students are relaxed.Step 8.Writing Imagine you are on vacation ,write notes about your vacation Write a postcardto a friend .Tell your friend about your vacation and what you are doing Dear John,Hows it going? Are you still busy with school or are you on vacation now?Im visiting my cousins in Sydney and having a wonderful time here.
