Which lesson does Sam like best? _词汇教学课例Unit 2 What Time Is It?教学实录及反思(PartB Lets Learn,Lets chant & Story Time)设计者、单位:林燕梅 佛山市三水区 西南街道第四小学教学年级: 四年级下册课题名称: What Time Is It?教材版本: PEP Primary English StudentsBook一、 教学设计1 学生分析本课教学的对象是四年级的小学生,平均年龄为10岁,他们对英语有很强的好奇心,好动、爱表现,喜欢引起别人的注意。他们听觉敏锐,模仿力和记记力强。三年级开始学习英语,已经具有简单的日常会话能力,能听懂老师常用的课堂用语,英语学习兴趣较浓。在学习本课之前,已掌握了十多个水果单词,十个顔色单词,1-50的数字单词,并刚学会用英语表达时间。2 内容分析这节课所学内容是Unit 2 PartB Lets Learn,Lets chant(P19) and Story Time(P25),这是本单元的第四课时,也是Part B的第一课时,在Part A部分学生已学了整点表达法:What time is it? Its . oclock. Its time for.本节课是学习非整点时间的表达以及该做什么事情的表达,以及能够跟随录音吟唱Lets chant中的歌谣和基本理解Story time的内容。Lets chant和Story time是对Lets Learn的巩固和拓展。因此,本节课的教学内容的重点是掌握非整点时间的表达及该做什么事情的表达:What time is it? Its . Its time to get up/go to school/go home/go to bed. 这是前三个课时所学知识的巩固与加深。而本节课的教学内容的难点是非整点时间的表达和区分Its time to.与Its time for.的用法。3 教学目标a.认知目标:1)能听懂、会说、认读四个新动词词组:get up/go to school/ go home/ go to bed。2)能够用英语表达非整点时间,并在情景中正确使用句型:“What time is it? Its . Its time to.”。3)能够跟随录音吟唱Lets chant中的歌谣。4)能基本理解Story time的内容。b.能力目标:1)能够询问时间并能用非正点时间正确回答,如:What time is it? Its7:05.2)能够结合所学的语言描述自己的日常活动,如: Its time to get up.c.情感目标1)激发学生的学习兴趣和学习动机,提高学生小组合作的团结精神。2)培养学生敢于开口,积极参与的学习态度,使学生能够得到成功的体验,建立学习自信心。3)培养学生严格的时间观念,养成守时、守纪的好习惯。4 教学策略本节课采用任务型策略和主动参与型策略,它的基点是“学生是学习的主体”。小学英语PEP教材每一课时以几个单词或以最多2-3个重点句型为教学内容,教师一般都单独教学这些内容再反复复习,操练,机械性比较强,学生也容易失去积极性和耐性。在导入过程中,我利用数字加减法导入非正整点时间的教学,然后自编有关Zoom 和Zip的故事为学生对新语言的学习创设情景,由于小孩子都天生爱听故事,尤其是生动有趣的卡通人物故事,在每个学生都全神贯注地听故事的过程中,自然而言地领会到新短语新句型的意思。在操练词和句过程中,我运用TPR、Pair work、Group work等教学方法让学生听、说、认读新短语、新句型。在练习的过程中,我运用Songs和Pair work让学生巩固运用新词组和新句型,然后我播放Flash课件,让学生理解Story Time和跟唱Lets chant, 由于卡通动画故事具有完整性、趣味性,而歌谣具有节奏感和趣味感,有助于学生在脑海里留下极其深刻的痕迹,从而进一步巩固新词组和句型的运用。在巩固和拓展过程中,我利用Part A 和Part B中Lets learn 的时间和词组图片,让学生口头说出句型:Its . Its time for/to.然后老师在屏幕上显示学生所说的句子,让学生思考对比,归纳出两种句型的不同结构:Its time for+N./Its time to+V. 接着让学生完成两题练习,目的是检验学生对非正点时间的表达和新、旧句型的区别运用的能力。最后让学生利用自制的钟再次以Pair work 形式扮演Zoom和Zip,运用新旧句型编造对话。二、教学实录Step1. PresentationA.非正点时间表达的呈现:1.Guessing Game: T:What time is it? 用卡片呈现:(3+3):(10+20),背面可呈现: 6:30/ six thirtySs: Its six thirty.T:Its 6:30.( 背面呈现:6:30/ six thirty,并贴在黑板上)2.以同样的方法预习7:05, 4:35, 9:00这几个时间的表达方法和表示方式。(设计意图:通过简单易懂的游戏呈现本节课的难点之一,让学生积极动脑,使他们思维活跃,调动学生的积极性,提高学生用英语表达时间的能力。)3.T:What time is it?(用教具钟呈现6:15,6:35,6:45,6:55) Ss: Its .(这时教师注意及时对15,35,45,55纠音。)B.整体词汇呈现:1Story-tellingT: (T指着黑板上的四个时间点)They are about Zooms day. Homework1)抄写本课所学词组和句型。2)任选一项口头作业a.利用自己制作的小钟,用所学句型和同学或家长进行对话。b.向爸爸或妈妈讲述今天所学的故事。c.自编一个新故事,并向爸爸或妈妈讲述。(设计意图: 任选一项口头作业的设计,目的是注重让学生根椐自己的实际情况和能力自由选择练习的难度、性质和方式,能照顾到不同层面的学生,是因材施教的一种方式。)Blackboard Design:(见下页) 三、教学反思这是一节小学四年级任务型英语词汇教学课。新课程标准强调要关注每个学生的情感,激发他们学习英语的兴趣,使他们在学习过程中发展综合语言运用能力。那如何激发他们学习英语的兴趣呢?方法有很多,我选择的是Storytelling“故事教学法”。在低年级的教学中,我经常根椐教学内容构思一个简单而有趣的故事情节来呈现新语言,学生通过听老师讲故事,在故事情节中推测、理解新词新句,同时又可以激发学生去理解蕴涵在故事中的更多的语言知识和文化背景。本节课的教学设计流程基本能顺利完成,收到了预期的教学目标。成功之处在于,我把四个新动词词组和四个新的非正点时间结合新句型结构,编造了一个有关“Zooms Day” 的小故事导入教学。由于Zoom和Zip在本教材中是两个有趣的卡通人物,深得学生们的喜爱,而老师在Storytelling过程中,通过丰富多彩、幽默风趣的连环画和老师的身体语言、夸张的语音语调等让学生去了解故事发生的情境,从而推测、理解新单词、新句型的真正意思及其使用的语言环境。爱听故事是少年儿童的天性,故事的完整性和趣味性,能充分调动了学生的积极性,有助于学生在脑海里留下极其深刻的痕迹,有利于他们联系故事的情节学习和记忆词语和语言表达的方式。故事教学为学生提供了大量的学习素材,扩展了学习面,扩大了词汇量、句型量,从而也提高了学生的听力、阅读能力和语言的交际能力。因此,在小学英语教学中采用故事教学是符合少年儿童的心理和生理的特点的,且经实践证明,是能取得很好的教学效果。本节课不足之处在于课堂容量过大,复习和导入的时间较长,操练和练习的时间相对紧一些。如在口头训练非正点时间时,由于生怕时间不够,对于学生出现的发音错误,我未能及时耐心地引导学生纠正错误并区分30,40,50和15的这几个读音, 而立即为学生纠正,影响了学生的学习自主性。这方面在今后的教学中应加以改进。pep小学英语四年级(上)期末练习题(建议考试时间60分钟)学校 班级 姓名 学号 听力部分(60%)一、 听音,打圈。(8%)1. fruit food 2 fish face 3. thirty thirteen 4. green grape5 small short 6. book look 7. long lamp 8. bus bike二、 听音,选择正确答案。(8%)1( ) What food do you like?A: I like hot dogs.
