Unit 3 At the zoo B Lets talk & Lets learn教学设计Step I Warm up1. Follow a songT: What animals can you see in the song? Let sing and follow it.【预设】如果学生不明白问题,师引导学生思考Is there a cat? Dog? Pig?【设计意图】通过歌谣活跃气氛,激发学生学习兴趣,调动学生的学习积极性。2. Review A Lets talk& lets learnT: We can see so many animals. We know Miss White and her students are seeing animals, too. Do you remember?回顾A部分出现的动物,并用矩形Look at that Its 预设:学生回忆并说出A部分的情境中出现的动物。如果学生想不起来,则出示A情境图并引导。Step II PresentationLets talk听前预测T: Miss White and her students see these animals. What other animal do they see? Can you guess?1. Listen and find: what animal are they talking about?T:What animal are they talking about? Lets listen and find it. So Miss White says, 出示句子Come here, children. Look at the elephant.【预设】come here, children!这个句子比较难度,让学生先自己试着思考发音,如果读不上来,老师可以通过拆音法,或提示chi is for /t/, dr en is for /dr n/, 提示学生来读出这个单词。(1)拆分音节认读comeLook at this word, come. We can read it like this. C is for/k/ ,o is for /,m is for /m/. e is silent. (2) 认读children Look at this word, can you read it?We can read it like this: ch-il, dren, children. (引导学生通过音节学习children的发音)呈现图片,They are children. You are children. John, Chen Jie and Mike are Children.【设计意图】通过图片展示让学生更直观的感知新单词的发音,以及拼读方法。并能更好的理解children的含义。2. Listen and tick: which part are they talking about?(1)T: Miss W and her Ss are talking about the elephant. Look! Whats the elephant like? Which part are they talking about?听力前准备Look at the words. Which part are they talking about? Lets listen and tick it.Animalsnosetaileyeslegheadearselephant【预设】学生在这部分可能不知道要进行什么活动,因此教师在这部分的教授时指令要明确,示范要到位,引导学生观察表格,并试着读出单词。【设计意图】通过听对话,找出答案,及时对文本的整体信息进行梳理,让学生的思维层层深入,而表格的设计则能更直观,让内容变得更明了。(2)check the answerLets check together. They are talking about the elephants nose, tail, eyes and ears.认读tailT: Ok. Also we can read it like this. t-ai-l.Look! This is the monkeys tail. This is the giraffes tail. And this is the elephants tail.【预设】学生在读tail的发音是容易读成tall, 因此教师要及时给孩子纠音,ai is for /ei/.【设计意图】通过图片的展示,让学生理解tail的意思,也能更好的操练单词的发音。3. Watch and find: what are the body parts like?(1)讲授long,hasT: We know they are talking about the elephants nose, tail, eyes and ears. What are the body parts like? Lets watch and find it.T: Whats the nose like? T: We know the nose is long. Who can read it? We can read it like this: l-ong.(学习新单词long)Try to read the sentence. 学习has的发音。 T: Lets read together. Show me your finger, Lets write.(板书It has a long nose.) (2)讲授short T: yes. The tail is short. Look at the monkey. It has a long tail. Look at the bear. It has a short tail.(观察图片理解long 和short,教师示范动作让生更好的理解其义。)T: Now who can read the sentence? S:T: Read together. It has a short tail. (板书 a short tail)(3)讲授small, bigT: what about the eyes and ears?T: It has small eyes and big ears.tall, mall, small.Look at the elephant. It has small eyes. It has big ears.S: It has small eyes and big ears. T: Lets write together. (板书 small eyes and big ears)【预设】本部分是新单词的学习,long和short 发音以前接触到,所以对学生来说不难,但是short的意思发生了改变,所以通过对比和老师的示范让学生体会到short在这部分是短的意思。small 是个新词,通过以旧引新发学习新单词,相信能让孩子更深刻地记住。Tail和tall易混淆,所以要加强语音渗透。It has 句型要引导学生读和说。4. Look and find: what is the elephant doing?T: Look at the picture. what is the elephant doing?T: There are some bananas. Where are the bananas from? Can we feed the elephant? Why? What should we do?We should obey the rules, dont throw food to the animals at the zoo.【设计意图】引导学生思考,进行情感渗透, 在动物园里我们要遵守规则,不能乱投喂动物,要爱护动物。5. What can you find?T: Look at the sentences, what can you find? Look! A and s. what can you find?T: Excellent. A means one, just like a head, a mouth, s means more than one. Two eyes, two ears, and two legs.【预设】本部分设计渗透情感教育不应该投食动物, what else can you find?学生可能不会那么容易发现,因此在这部分设计,我通过提示,不断启发学生自己找出规律,调动学生思维。【设计意图】通过观察几个句子的区别,提醒学生注意身体器官的单复数用法。并能区分和运用句型It has a 和It has s.6. Read and find your problems7. Listen and imitate.8. Role playLets make a role play. Which group wants to show?Others listen carefully, and make an assessment.How many stars can they get?【预设】2 stars. I think you can read better/ correctly next time. 3 stars. You did a good job.9. RetellMiss W and her Ss are talking about the elephant. Miss W says, whats the nose like?S:It has a long nose. It has a short tail. It has small eyes and big ears.Lets learn1. Listen and find: whats the ostrich like?T: Just now they were talking about the elephant, but now Look! Whats this?T: Yes. Its an ostrich. John and CJ are talking about the head and tail.Whats the head like? Whats the tail like? Lets listen and fill in the blanks.2. Group workT: What else can you find? Pay attention to the tips.Which group wants to show? 提供语言支架,It has a和It has s, 让学生根据支架进行描述。【设计意图】小组合作学习单词,完成句子,发展学生自主合作探究学习的能力。3. Listen and imitateStep III PracticeLets doYou did very well.
