Section A 1a-1c教学目标:一、知识目标:(1)语言目标:通过教学,让学生能熟练运用目标语言谈论和制定规章制度。(2)语言结构:祈使句、情态动词can表示许可的用法。(3)重点词汇:in class, classroom, hallway, arrive late, fight, can, cant(4)重点句型:Dont eat in class!What are the rules? We cant eat in class.Can we arrive late for class? No, we cant. We cant arrive late for class.二、能力目标:通过学习,学生能熟练运用目标语言口头或书面描述、制定规则。三、情感目标:(1)通过学习规章制度,规范学生的行为,让他们做有责任感的人。(2)通过对话、小组执行任务、讨论等活动,培养学生的合作意识。教学重难点:教学重点:运用祈使句和情态动词can描述和制定规章制度。教学难点:祈使句的用法。教学过程:Step 1 Presentation1. Lead inAfter greeting, the teacher shares a poem and some pictures with the whole class. 设计意图:以配乐诗引导学生情感的投入,用图片将身边常见的规章制度及其影响直观地展示给全班同学,既容易吸引学生的注意力,活跃思维和课堂气氛,激发其兴趣,同时为下一步学习做好铺垫。2. Presentation 1Create a situation, the head teacher gives his best wishes to all students at the beginning of the term. 设计意图:创设真实的情景,开展任务型教学,引导学生在学中用,在用中学。3. Presentation 2Show the class some pictures of the students who are breaking school rules. And present the target key words on the screen, such as: in class, classroom, hallway, arrive late, fight Get the students to repeat them after the teacher.设计意图:展示一些贴近学生实际的图片,以直观的形式进行单词教学,启发学生快速识记单词的音、形、意。Step 2 Practice1. Mechanical practice. (1) Point to the picture and students repeat the target language structure after the teacher. Then get them practice in Boys-Girls form/ in pairs. At last ask some students to repeat in front of the class.设计意图:安排这些在教师引导下的机械操练活动,是为了照顾一些基础差的学生,让他们熟悉目标语言,为后面的实际运用打牢基础。(2) Match and finish 1a.设计意图:做书中1a进行强化训练,检测学习结果。2. Listening practice.(1) Pre-listening. First the teacher guides the students to observe the main picture carefully. Get them to predict or guess who Peter/ Selina /Nick are and what rule they are breaking. Make sure every student to know how to deal with the items.设计意图:教师运用各种方法和策略进行听力前的引导,可以激活学生的背景知识,降低听力难度,为他们有的放矢地听做好准备,同时也是培养学生良好的做题习惯。(2) While-listening. Ask the students to listen to the tape twice or three times and write down the numbers.设计意图:通过听力训练,让学生能够对前面所学的目标句型有敏感的反应;同时,这样充分的语言输入,进一步巩固了本课句型,确保学生能够在以后的活动环节中熟练地运用。(3) Post-listening. Check the answers and finish 1b.设计意图:通过答案的核对、复述,再一次对前面学过的句型进行了复习、检测。3. Meaningful Practice 1最强大脑Point to the pictures on the screen and ask different students to say the rules that the students are breaking. Then get them have a competition in pairs, let them say as many school rules as they can.设计意图:给学生一个综合运用以前学过的知识和祈使句的机会,开展竞赛的目的在于激发学生的好胜心,活跃课堂气氛,帮助学生发散思维。4. Meaningful Practice 2.(1) Point out the example conversation in 1c. Ask two students to read the dialogue to the class. Get the class to look at the main picture in P 71, then let them talk about it with “Can you/ we ?”S1: What are the rules?S2: We cant eat in the classroom.S3: Can we arrive late for class?S4 : No, we cant. We cant arrive late for class.(2) As the pairs talk, the teacher moves around the classroom monitoring their work. She offers language or pronunciation support as needed.(3) Ask several pairs to present one or more of their conversations to the class. 设计意图:激活旧知识,采用俩俩对话的练习方式,操练情态动词can 表示许可的用法:一般疑问句及其回答和否定句,对所学知识加以巩固和强化,同时也给了学生发表自己看法的机会。Step 3 Task1. Pre-task. Show students some pictures about rules in class. And brainstorm students English classroom rules as many as they can.设计意图:在完成任务之前,再一次激活学生已有知识,让他们发挥自己的想象力,激发其兴趣,为完成任务做好准备。2. While-task. (1) Students list at least four English classroom rules by herself or himself.设计意图:教师提供完成任务所需的示例,让学生列出英语课堂的规则清单,进行单句写作练习,从而对祈使句的肯定形式与否定形式进行综合运用和巩固。(2) Get the students to discuss and share in Groups of four students to find out the rules they should obey in the English classroom. Make their rules in groups.Our English Classroom Rules设计意图:通过小组合作交流,分别制定各组的英语课堂规章制度,将所学知识运用到实际生活中,既促进学生的互相合作和了解,也让学生体验到成就感和合作精神。3. Post-task. Ask each group to share their classroom rules and put it on the blackboard Then the whole class read the Class Classroom Rules together and decide which group has the most useful rules (Other groups can write their rules on the paper or cards and stick on the wall of the classroom).Report:设计意图:教师先提供汇报任务所需的语言示例,使学生的口语交际和笔头表达能力提高到一个新的高度,从而突破本课难点。小组之间开展竞赛,增强学生的集体荣誉感。Step 4 Exercise and Summary1. First ask the students to finish the exercise on their worksheet. Then observe the sentences and discuss the common characteristics what they discover among these sentences in groups. 2.
