Starter unit2 Whats this in English?Period1(1a,2a-2e,4a-4d)一、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:1)能掌握字母Ii Rr的字母顺序,读音及书写。 2)总结元音字母a、e、i、o在单词中的读音规则。2. 情感目标:初步培养学生对英语学习的兴趣,发挥学生学习英语的主动性;通过小组活动 、组间竞赛,培养学生的合作意识和团队精神。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) 能掌握字母Ii Rr的字母顺序,读音及书写。2) 总结元音字母a、e、i、o在单词中的读音规则。2. 教学难点:总结归纳元音字母Aa、Ee、Ii与Oo在单词中的常见发音规律,并能利用所学的规律来尝试拼读新的单词。三、教学过程Step1Warming-up and revision 1. Greet the Ss. Good morning/afternoon/evening, boys and girls! Good morning/afternoon/evening, Mr./ Ms. T: How are you? Ss: Im fine. And you? T: Im OK. 2. Review the letters Aa Hh. Step2 Presention Teachers show a part of a letter andask, “Whats this?” Get the students to answer the questions like this: T: Whats this? Ss: I think its A/B/C Then show the whole of the letter tothe class. T: Youre wrong. Its I. (Let the students check whether theyre right or wrong.Then guess the letter J, K, L, M, N) Step3 Listening(2a 2b)1. Let Ss listen and repeat letters Ii Rr(2a)2.Let some Ss read out the letters Ii Rr. (注意纠正学生们不准确的读音)3.Let Ss try to recite letters Ii Rr 4.Listen and number the letters you hear(2b)Step4 Writing1. Show them How towrite the letters on the blackboards,both of “Big” and “smallMake sure all the students know how to write them2. Ss read and find out the writing rules of the letters Ii Rr. S1: 大字字母都是占上两格。 S2: 字母m、n、o、r占中间的一格。 S3:字母k、l占上两格。 S4: 字母p、q占下两格。 S5: 字母j占三格。3. Ss try to copy the letters by themselves. T goes around the classroom to give any help.4.
