Teaching proceduresStep 1: Lead inI will present some pictures with a song to help them review the knowledge they learned before.Step 2: Pre-speaking1) Brain storm: Students will talk about their New Years plan. 2) I will present some difficult words, such as“ faxes, resolutions.”Step 3: While-speaking1) Students will listen to the tape to get the main idea.2) Students will listen again and understand the whole passage sentence by sentence.3) Students will listen to the tape and imitate the pronunciation and intonation.4) A reading star: Students will read the whole passage and mark the rules of linking.
