Use what we have learnt to complete a project.教育方面:Gain a clear understanding of the importance of keeping the balance of man and nature and protecting the environment 发展方面: Develop students abilities in imagination, thinking and expression. 三、教材分析教学内容:普通高中课程标准试验教科书牛津高中英语模块五高二年级上学期 Unit 3 Science and nature第六课时Project: Having a debate.内容分析: 通过本课时学习,使学生清楚的意识到保持人类与自然的平衡以及保护环境的重要性,知道如何表达自己的观点,通过小组合作完成项目,再通过组际间的辩论实现最终的目标任务- Love Earth, Love us 实现情感的升华。教学重难点:重点:1.了解人与自然的关系及GM food.2.能够清楚的表达自己的观点,进行debate,认识到保护环境迫在眉睫。难点: 如何清楚地表达观点。 教学方法: exploration, cooperation, independent study.四、教学过程Step 1 PresentationLead-in Talk about the weather.What causes the serious pollution? Causes of the serious pollution: l Rapid development of agriculture and industryl Industrial chemicals and waste poured out into the river l Thick dirty smoke going into the atmosphere l Loss of many forests and grasslands Step 2 Reading Today well learn an article about “Man and Nature”.Task 1 Fast readingRead the passage and find the main idea of each paragraph.Para1 a. Both developed and developing countries should worktogether towards living in harmony with nature.Para2 b. Humans can only really win by protecting nature. Para3 c. Different attitudes towards the problem. Para4 d. Environment has been seriously damaged by humanscarelessness. Task 2 Detailed reading Read the article again and understand it better.
