Greeting and warming-up.(1)(Have a free talk with the pupils.)T: How are you today? P: I am fine. And you? T: What day is today? P: Its T: Whats the date today? P:Its (2)(Say a rhyme to warm up)T: Now boys and girls, lets say the rhyme together. Please stand up and clap your hands.2. Point out the aims of this lessonT: Weve already learned the comparative degree and today we are going to learn something about the superlative degree.(中文解释:之前我们学习了比较级,今天我们将要学习最高级) 板书:Unit 10 Work With Language: The Superlative Degree3. Revison of the comparative degreeT: First lets review the comparative degree by answering my questions. Are you ready? Lets go. (1) Which is bigger, the cat or the mouse?(2) Which is heavier, the pig or the monkey?(3) Which is faster, the horse or the turtle?(4) Which is larger, Japan or China?(5) Who is taller, Yaoming or Pan Changjiang?(6) Whose hair is shorter, Miss Shens or Wang Yuegangs?(7) Which is bigger, A or B? (画两个大小不一的圆圈在黑板上)4. Presentation of the superlative degree.T: (再画一个更大的圆圈) Now which is the biggest, A, B or C?P: C is the biggest. T: OK, C is bigger than A and B, so C is the biggest of the three(板书). Clear?T: (简笔画画三个人在黑板上)Who is the tallest, A, B or C? P: A is the tallest.T: OK, A is taller than B and C, so A is the tallest of the three. Greeting and warming-up.Sing a song: Five Little Monkeys (播放并让学生齐唱歌曲,到第三段三只猴子在跳跃时按暂停让学生观察,教师提问)Which monkey jumps the highest?引出最高级句型的学习。2. Point out the aims of this lesson3出示课件投让学生运用句型Which animal is the heaviest? The elephant is the heaviest of the three.进行问答。(板书句型问答)4运用周围人或事物结合最高级句型进行操练。For example:(找三位学生站讲台前) Whose head is the biggest? Malins head is the biggest of the three.(找三个书包让学生掂量) Which bag is the heaviest?The blue is the heaviest of the three.5(找三位学生)Is Yanghong the tallest of the three? (引出最高级一般疑问句的学习)然后板书操练句型。6Summary (课件出示形容词比较级与最高级让学生总结他们的变化规律)7课文及新词学习a. 出示课件按课件顺序展示解决课文新词及重难点。b.利用金太阳播放课文对话,让学生认真听,然后回答教师问题。1.) What are the biggest animals in the world?2.) What are the biggest animals on land?3.) Where do whales live?4.) What do whales eat?c. 播放课文录音,学生跟读,强调模仿课文录音。d. 男女生比赛。(学生先读一句课文对话,教师再播放录音进行对比,看谁读得与录音最接近。)e. 学生自由分角色按课文对话。(按学生能力可看书亦可背诵)8.知识拓展:蓝鲸还有什么特点。9Lets make a survey. (见课件,是否实施,看时间而定。)9. Homework:1.) Greeting and warming-up.Have a free talk with the students2. Point out the aims of this lesson: today we will continue to learn the superlative degree.3做出跑得很快的动作,引导学生说:Miss runs fast. Find another student to run faster, and guide the students to say: runs faster. Have another student to run fastest of the three, and guide the students to speak out the sentence: runs fastest of the three.(Write these three sentences on the blackboard and compare them.)4出示课件投影让学生运用句型。5Play a game (Have some students to come to the front ,the rest of the students guess ,then have these students to do the action, lets see whose guessing is right)For example:Who jumps highest?Who runs fastest?Who dances best?6(承接上一个步骤)Ask the students:Does dance best of the three? (引出最高级一般疑问句)(Write the sentence on the blackboard and practice the sentence pattern)7Summary (总结最高级的两种句式):形容词和表示动作的副词的最高级形式的表达方法。8a. Who goes to bed latest in your family? ect.广州市小学五年级英语教材(第六册)教学设计(Module 4 Wild Animals)Unit 11 Work With Language(第四课时)华南师范大学附属小学 沈晓燕 洪冬红 沈川莉一 教材分析:Unit 11 Work With Language(巩固课)二 教学目标:a) 语言知识目标句型:能够听说并灵活运用最高级的各种形式进行交际,能够掌握各种人称代词的不同用法。b) 语言技能目标提高听说读写能力。c) 情感态度目标让学生通过参与各种课堂活动提高学习英语的兴趣,建立学习自信心。d) 学习策略目标能够通过参与课堂活动养成良好的学习习惯并掌握有效的学习策略。e) 文化意识目标初步了解中国和一些其他国家的世界之最。三 教学重难点:重点:能够熟练运用比较级和最高级句子进行交际,难点:代词的运用。四 教学媒体:课件。五 教学过程:1导入:(1) Greeting.(2) Warming-up: 用动作配合手势说一首小诗。Teacher: tall Girls: taller Boys: tallestTeacher: short Girls: shorter Boys: shortest(这里注意要强调good-better-best, many-more-most, beautiful-more beautiful-most beautiful的特殊之处)(3) Free talk. (用比较级和最高级的句子问一些关于学生家庭信息的句子,如:Are you taller than your mother? Does your mother get up earliest in your family? Are you the youngest in your family? Who is the oldest in your family?等等) 2新课呈现:(1)Presentation课件呈现两幅动物图pig,dog让学生用比较级说出两者区别如:The pig is fatter than the dog. The dog can run faster than the pig. The pig is stronger than the dog. 然后再出现一幅elephant图,老师提问:Which is the fattest/ strongest? Whose ears are the biggest? Whose nose is the longest? Who runs the fastest? Who eats the most?(要求学生用完整的句子回答)(2)Summarya要求学生再次总结归纳比较级与最高级的不同之处,口头表达出来。b初步解释形容词和副词的用法,be动词和行为动词用法之区别,最高级形式前何时加the何时不用加。(3)Games (小组比赛形式)a课件练习形容词的最高级,每次呈现三个以上物体,遮挡住图片的一部分,让学生用一般疑问句Is No. 1 the biggest of the three?来猜,看谁猜对。b. 课件练习副词的最高级,每次呈现三个以上物体,点击之后会出现跳,跑,飞等动画,学生用Does jump the highest?来猜,看谁猜对。c综合:课件呈现几个人物图,分别标有人名(最好用班里同学的名字,容易记),学生看了几秒钟以后教师提问Who is the tallest/ shortest/ strongest? Whose eyes are the biggest? Who is the most beautiful?等等。(4) ExercisesP52 Exercise 3问答。(5) 小组讨论,完成P52 Exercise 2,然后汇报小组成果。(每人都要说)3巩固和拓展。(1) 笔头练习:(课件呈现)用括号里的词的适当形式填空。 1. Tom can jump _(high).
