Unit 1 What s the matter第一课时 Section A (1a-2c)数学目标:1、 语言目标,描述健康问题的词汇,及如何根据别人的健康问题提建议。2、 技能目标,能听懂谈论健康问题的对话材料,能根据别人的健康问题提建议,能写重点 单词和重点句型,并能描述对待健康问题,3、 情感目标,通过开展扮演病人活动,培育学生关心他人身体健康的品质。通过本课的阅读,培养学生处理紧急事件的能力,树立紧急事件时互相帮助的精神。教材分析本课的教学内容是人教版八年级英语下册第一单元的第一课时,重点在于通过学习如何用英文询问健康问题给出建议,激发学生的学习兴趣,培养学生关注身体健康、关心他人的情感。任务以听、说为主,因此,教师可以将知识目标定为掌握本课时的单词,以及能够用should给出建议;情感目标定位培养学生关心他人的能力教学重难点:短语:have a stomachache , have a cold , lie down , take one s temperature ,go to a doctor 句子:1 What s the matter ? I have a stomachache. you shouldn t eat so much next time.2 What s the matter with Ben ?He hurt himself . He has a sore back .He should lie down and rest . 3 Do you have a fever ? Yes , I do . No , I don t 3 Does he have a toothache ? Yes , he does .He should see a dentist and get an X-ray .教学过程:Step 1 Greeting T: How are you?S: I am fine.,Thank you .And you?T: I have a cold.What should I do?(我该怎么办)学生也许会提建议:看医生、休息、吃药等。教师教授以上词汇,为学习下面的对话作铺垫。Step 2 Lead-inlook at the screen and sing a song .By singing to import new lesson.1. visual demonstration )identify the body. Now Lets look at the toy rabbit.This is a body . We are going to identify the parts of the body. Step 3 New words (利用图片和卡片进行教学)2. 通过老师的表情动作让学生用句型“what s the matter?”引出表示疾病的单词及短语:Sore throat ;sore back =backache ;toothache,stomachache等,利用卡片进行教学。同时让学生用句型“You should”提出建议。Step 4 Practice(让学生看图片,表演,进行回答练习)1.A:“What s the matter with her ?”B:She has a headache.A:What should she do ?B:She should lie down and rest2 . .A:“What s the matter with you ?” B:I have a fever.A:What should you do ?B: I should see a doctor /have a rest / take some medicine. Step 5 Listening Listen and number the picture in the order you hear them in 2aListen again ,Match the problem with the advice in 2b.Step 6 Pair work Make conversation using the information in 2a and 2b.A:“What s the matter with you ?”B: My head feels very hot,A: Maybe you have a feverB: Step 7 Role- play 1 .Go over the conversation in 2d, and deal with the difficulties in groups.Go over the conversation in 2d quickly, if you have any troubles, discuss them in your group . The teacher goes through the classroom and offers help if necessary .2. Read aloud the conversation in pairs .3 . Make up their own conversations .4 . Act out their conversations
