Id like3. phonology:/n/ noodle nud()l4. topic: food,order food;5. skill: listening and speaking.Teaching focus and difficult point:1. teaching focus:vegetables,meat,noodles,would,order-“What would you like?”-“Id like.?”2. teaching difficult point: recongnise countable & uncountable food vocabulary. .Teaching procedures:step1. warm up: T: Hello,boys and girls, today is a very nice day uh-huh!have you eaten breakfast? Ss: Yes. T: What did you eat? Ss:T: Did anybody eat noodles or rice?(write noodles and rice on Bb) Ss: . T: Oh, thats good. T: Look at the PPT, what are you seeing? Ss: Rice,noodles. T:Good, can you guess whats our topic today? Ss:Food. T:Yes, it is about food, how many foods do you know? Ss: T:Ok, now I give you more.(3min) step2. present pictures with new words on PPT to learn new words: T: Whats this? T&Ss:Its T: Please read it follow me Ss:T: How to spell it T&Ss:(T writes the word on the Bb) (after writing down all the new words on Bb Ill ask them to read those words after me)T: Please read it afer me ok ?.Ss:T: Good, lets look at those words again,what do you find?some of them have “s” right?Ss: Yes!T: OK!Do you know why do they have “s”? Ss:T: because they are countable nouns (write down on Bb),while others are uncountable nouns(write down on Bb).So, can you find them out? Who want to have a try? Ss: T: Ok! Very good!you please, you can mark countable nouns by using green star and mark uncountable nouns by using red star.(Ss mark it and then I check it.) (13min)step3. present pictures without new words on PPT T: whats your favorite/unfavorite food?Ss:T:Good!(3min) step4. finish 1aT: Please look at your books in 1a,maybe some of those foods are your favorite foods,please match the words with the foods.(2min) later check answer) step5. analyse the listening material and finish 1bT: Please look at the picture again, on the top of the picture there are three specials of this retaurant , lets see what they are: special 1 is tomatoes and beef noodles.special2 is(ask students to say) Ss: T: Good,Do you find those specials are vegetables and meat noodles right?so we should have a balanced diet yes?Ss: Yes.T: Oh! Its looks very delicious! Id like special1(write down it on Bb),Ill order special1 how about you ?what would you like?( (write down it on Bb and pick some students to answer) Ss: Id like T: Very good! you would like.so,you will orderright?lets listen to the video and check which one would the boy oder? (listening time) T:Ok, which one would the boy order. Ss:Special 1 T: Good! lets listen to the video again and please read after it ok? Ss:Ok! (listening time again)(10min)step6. pair work:practice the conversation in 1a with partnersT: Now, its your time please practice the conversation in 1a with your partner,I give you 2 min ,ok,begain!(2min) role-play: use the words and sentence structures which we learned today to order food,two people a group,one acts waiter/waitress one acts guest to order food,and then pick some of them to act.(give Ss sentence structures on ppt)(5min)step7. end of lesson summary :do some excercises. T: Today we learned some foods and how to order food in restaurant right? Ok,At the end of this lesson there are some excercises on ppt please do it quickly and then, Ill check it.(check answer afer they have done)5minstep8. homework: to ask what would your friends like for lunch/dinner,and finish the table.
