The next morning, I got a terrible surprise. 2. She looked up in surprise when I came in. 3. To my surprise, my dream came true. 4. I want to surprise her with flowers. 5. She was surprised at the surprising news.Conclusion: 1) 从例句1,2,3看出来,surprise是_, 意为_. 常用get a surprise表示_; in surprise 表示_; to ones surprise表示_.2) 从例句4看出,surprise是_, 意为_. 3) 从例句5看出来,surprised是_,意为_, 常用来修饰_, 常用be surprised at 表示_; surprising 是_,意为_,常用来修饰_. 3) sothat e.g. I was so scared that I couldnt move. 我如此害怕以至于动不了了。 = I was too scared to move.
