Listen, read and act out.二、教学目标1. 大多数学生能够听说读写单词或短语: believe, snake, DVD, lucky, bamboo, its, body, come out of, flute, get, frightened.2. 大多数学生能够听懂并用句型: I dont believe it! Do snakes love music?3. 能够运用所学的语言知识与同伴进行交流。三、教学重难点(一)重点:1. 听、说、读、写单词和短语: believe, snake, DVD, lucky, bamboo, its, body, come- out of, flute, get。2. 学习句型:Idont believe it! Do snakes like music? (二)难点:1. 能用一般现在时描述动物的习性。2. 一般现在时的构成和变化。 四、教学准备1. 单词卡片(可从优教平台下载“Module7 Unit1单词卡片集”直接使用)。2. 音频(可从优教平台下载使用)。3. 人物头饰。4. PPT课件。五、教学设计Step 1 Warm-up1. Free talkT: Today we are going to know more about animal facts from Module 7 Unit 1. Now lets guess some riddles about animals.(1) They have got long tails. They climb trees very fast. They like bananas. What are they? (monkeys)(2) They have got no legs. They live in water. They can swim. What are they? (fish)(3) Theyare long. They have got small heads. They have got no legs. What are they? (snakes)(4) They are fat. They are black and white. They live in China. What are they? (pandas)【设计思路】复习旧知识的同时也为学习新知识做好了铺垫,同时也锻炼了学生的听力,提高他们的学习兴趣。Step 2 Preview老师提问:1. Do you love music?2. Do snakes love music?3. Does the dog eat music?【设计思路】这三个问题的设置,可以起到承上启下的作用。使第一环节自然过渡到第二环节,第二环节又自然过渡到本节课重点部分,即下面的新授环节。Step 3 Presentation1. 新课导入。(1) T: Pandas are fat and cute. I like pandas very much. Do you like pandas? What do pandas like to eat?Yes, they like to eat bamboo. (板书:Pandas like to eat bamboo.)(2) T: I know that pandas eat for twelve hours a day.I think pandas are lucky. (板书:lucky pandas)(3) We can describe pandas like this: They are fat. They are black and white. They live in China. Pandas eat for twelve hours a day. They love bamboo. They are lovely and they are lucky. Now can you say something about snakes?Ss: .T: Who wants to do the actions like snakes?T: What is he doing?Ss: He is dancing.T: Can snakes dance?Ss: Yes.T: How can snakes dance?Ss: Snakes can use their bodies to dance.T: Read after me: body. (板书)Who wants to copy some animals and say something about them?(4) 学习单词:DVD, believe, fantastic用单词卡片学习这三个单词。T: Look! Do you know what it is?S1: Its a DVD.T: How clever you are! I think you can be the little teacher.Read after me:DVD. (板书) 【设计思路】师生共同创设了一种民主和谐的英语学习气氛,较好地形成了师生互动和生生互动,教师把课堂真正还给学生,让学生成为学习的主人,教师成为学生平等的对话者。 2. 课文学习。(1) T: Do you want to know more knowledge about pandas and snakes? Lets listen to the tape recorder. Then answer some questions:Do snakes like music? How long do pandas eat every day?(通过PPT课件出示问题。)【设计思路】让学生通过听课文录音,了解课文内容,并有意识地加强学生的听力训练。(2) Read the text in pairs.(小组比赛的形式进行课文朗读,并由学生对此环节进行评价,再次体现课堂评价意义。)3. Make a dialogue.T: Im so glad that you speak English very well. Now please describe some animals with your partner or by yourself.eg: Elephants are big and heavy. Theyve got two small eyes, two big ears, and a long nose. Theyre strong and heavy. They like water.(1)学生练习,表演。学生围绕本课句型,结合学过的英语进行自编对话,先在小组内对话交流,再上台表演。(2)评一评。 学生用英语互评:谁说得好。 【设计思路】学生在交流、体验、合作、参与中进行口语交际,并引导他们用英语表达内心的感受。Step 4 Consolidation and extension活动: PPT课件出示几幅相同物品图片,让学生学会使用Do you like/love.?互相对话。 (1)同桌练习:Do you like fish?Yes, I do. /No, I dont.(2)四人小组练习:.like(s)dont (doesnt) like【设计思路】 熟练句型,通过like/likes的练习,对第三人称单数形式的动词有了初步的印象。Step 5 Homework1. 听Listen, read and act out录音,模仿表演。2.
