Unit6 An old man tried to move the mountains第二课时SectionA(3a-3c)教学设计一、 教材分析:本课是人教版新目标八年级下册第六单元第二课时,本单元讨论的主题是“传说和故事”,其功能项目是讲故事(tell a story)。分为sectionA,sectionB, self check三个部分。本单元内容与实际生活息息相关,是学生感兴趣的话题。本单元是围绕story来展开话题的一个单元,分为五个课时。本课时为本单元第二课时,以阅读为核心,主要以中国传统的故事西游记为主题,学生能听懂故事,并能用英语为他人讲述故事。二、学情分析:学生是学习的主体,对学生情况的分析是教学工作的关键环节。八年级学生的特点:八年级学生经过一年多系统的英语学习,具备了一定的听说基础,正逐步向读、写过渡,通过一年多新课程理念的熏陶和实践,有了初步自主合作,分析归纳的能力。并处于知识积累,前后知识衔接,培养良好的学习习惯的关键时期。大部分学生对英语有一定兴趣,但由于知识的安排由浅入深,有少数学生对这门学科产生了厌恶心理,消除学生厌学情绪,激发学生兴趣至关重要。三、教学目标:1. master some of the key words and expressions in the reading passage.2. find specific information in a reading passage.3. understand the structure of the passage.4. Students have their own ideas about Monkey King.四、教学重难点:1、 教学重点:1) 掌握本部分出现的生词和词组,达到熟练运用的目标。2) 阅读短文,获得相关的信息。通过阅读练习,来提高阅读能力。2、教学难点:1) 阅读短文,获得相关信息的能力。2) 理解并运用所学的词汇及表达方式。五、教学突破:通过阅读练习,促进学生语言知识的掌握及提高学生的阅读能力。通过pairwork和groupwork活动,让学生讨论“What do you think about the Monkey King? ”这一话题,培养学生的思维品质。六、教学准备:1、 教师准备:设计随堂练习的幻灯片,导学案及达标检测2、 学生准备:预习课本内容,完成导学案中的课文中重点词组。七、教学方法:1、 教法:1) 采用多媒体教学手段,增强直观性和趣味性,激发学生参与的积极性。2) 听说读写综合训练,培养语言运用能力。3) 任务型语言教学法,知识导入和任务设计由浅入深、由易到难、循序渐进。4) 自学探究教学法,培养学生自学探究意识。2、学法:1) 学会预习:变被动学习为主动学习,带着问题有目的地听课,可以更好的把握课堂的重点和难点,提高课堂效率。2) 合作学习:划分不同的小组,积极探讨交流,体会学生之间合作的魅力,发展学生的综合语言运用能力,更好的掌握本课所学的知识。依据:新课程标准提出的感知-体验-实践-参与-合作,以及形成性评价。八、教学流程: (一)【自主学习】:预习SectionA3a-3c,完成下列短语。1.在英国_ 2.能够做某事_3.一个新的电视节目_ 4.他们中大多数_5.第一次_ 6.主要人物_-7.在传统中国书籍中_8.事实上_-9.一个名叫韩红的歌手_10.把A变成B_11.出来/出版_12.三十多年前_13.对做某事感兴趣_14.帮助弱者_15.最受欢迎的故事之一_16.一根魔棒_(二)【合作探究】:Step1 new wordsLook at the pictures and learn about the new words.object n. 物体 tail n. 尾巴 stick n. 棍;条 excite v. 使激动;使兴奋 western adj. 西方的Step2. 出示西游记人物照片,并且问下列问题。 1. Tea has a very close relationship to Chinese culture. It is said that Chinese tea was discovered by King Shen Nong. People say that he lived 5,000 years ago. One summer day, while he was visiting a faraway part of his country, he felt very thirsty. The servants began to make water hot enough for him to drink. Dried leaves from a near plant fell into the water. The king drank some, and found it could make him feel less tired. Also as a scientist, King Shen Nong was interested in the new drink. And so, tea was created in 2737 BC. Drinking tea has many advantages. It makes people feel less tired, clears heat inside the human body and helps people lose weight. As you add a cup of tea to your daily life, please check the following helpful advice. Drink it hot. Tea oxidizes(氧化) quickly so it is suggested that you drink it hot. Do not drink too much strong tea. It will probably be harmful to your stomach and make you feel sick if you make the tea too strong. The best time to drink tea is between meals. It may not make you have a strong wish to eat when your stomach is empty, or cause stomachache when your stomach is full. Do not drink with medicine. It may change the medical result. You can drink tea two hours after you take medicine.Green tea is the best choice for office workers. Why? Because green tea helps stop the bad result of the computer.( )1.
