Section A (1a-2c)时 间2013年11月主讲教师刘芳芳 教学课时1课时课 型常态课教学目标目标:通过对本课中的生词、词组及句型的学习,让同学们说说帮助他人的方式,培养学生的语言表达能力。重点:1、 Key Vocabulary: clean up, hunger, homeless, cheer up, give up , give out, sign, put off, set up, establish, come up with2、Target LanguageHow to express offering to help with target language.难点: 1、Teach the students how to use the new phrasal verbs.2、Teach the students to express offering to help with target language.有效导入 导入目标:通过对 Unit 7进行复习,温故知新,引出新课。导入方式:问答式,师生互动式导入内容:Revise the language points in Unit 7.Ask some questions like this: Where would you like to go on vacation? Why?有效精讲精讲目标:通过听说训练,使学生掌握本课重点短语及句型。精讲方式:设问式; 师生、生生互动式;任务式精讲内容: Step 1 Revision1. Revise the language points in Unit 7.Step 2 Presentation. 1a1.In this unit we talk about: offer help.2.Ask the children to read the title twice, and ask one student to explain the sentence. Then make sentences with clean up.3.Learn some new words.4. (1).Please look at the picture now. What is the bulletin board about? Help students to answer: Volunteer Today! (2). Read the sentences in the posters to the class. Ask the pairs of students to explain what the sentence means in their own words. Or tell what the volunteers are doing in the posters.4.After the students have finished all the items, ask the students to add some other ways they can help people. Get them to write the ways down in the box below the picture.5. Ask some students to share their ideas with the class. . 1b1.Ask the students to pay attention to the sentences, and understand them. 2.Listen to the conversations and complete the sentences. 1c1.Ask the students to pay attention to the example in the speech bubbles in Activity la. Ask a pair of students to read this conversation to a class. Then let them practice in pairs.2.After theyve finished practicing the sample conversation, ask them to make up similar conversations based on the other two posters. Get two pairs to demonstrate two conversations first. 3.Then let the whole class practice in pairs. 2a1.Ask five different students to describe the pictures. 2.Well hear some students at a club meeting. They are talking about how their club can help clean up the city parks. Now listen to the club members talking about what they can do to clean up the city parks and check the things they hear.3.Check the answers.Step 2b1. Ask the students to listen carefully , and fill in the blanks2.Check the answers.Step 2c1.Ask students to look at the sample conversation first. Ask a pair to read it to the class.2.Work in pairs to role play the conversation in Activity 2b. Each pair will make a conversation like the sample one.
