Teach: tall, taller Make sentences: xxx is taller than me. xxx is shorter than xxx.2 T: How old are you? T: And you? T: So you are younger than her. She is older than you. But youre stronger. 3 Show some pictures and compare them. 4 Listen to the tape and read the words. 5小结形容词比较级的规律 1) 单音节词末尾加-er, 如: taller, older, longer 2) 单音节词如果以-e结尾,只加-r. 3) 闭音节单词如末尾只有一个辅音字母,须双写这个字母,再加-er, 如bigger, thinner. 4) 少数以-y结尾的词,如果-y前是辅音字母,则变y为i,再加-er,如heavier. Step 3 Consolidation 1、T: Look at the pictures of Part B, then use the new words, compare them. e.g. Picture 3: The man is taller than the woman. 2、Ask the students to make the sentences like that. eg: Im thinner than xxx. She is fatter than xxx.先教授B部分描述人的形容词,让学生结合班级中同学的真实情况,利用比较句型描述。3. T:Im taller than xxx.
