Greetings.Greet with students.2. Listen to a songI love my family. (播放课件)Students enjoy the English song and follow it to sing.3. Revision.The teacher shows words to students. Students try to read them. Step 2: Presentation1. Teach “pen, red, ten, leg”.(1)The teacher teaches the word “pen”.The teacher shows a red pen. Meanwhile, shows the picture of a red pen on the PPT. (课件出示: 一支红色钢笔的图片)Teaching purpose通过一些简单的图片将本节课的四个重点单词引出,并通过拆音的方法进行自然拼读式的语音教学,方法直观,学生很容易接受T: This is my new pen.T: P-e-n, pen. (课件出示:pen的相关内容)(2)The teacher teaches the word “red”.T: What colour is the pen?Ss: Red.T: Good! R-e-d, red. (课件出示:red的相关内容)(3)The teacher teaches the word “ten”.T: I have many pens. Do you know how many pens I have?Ss: No.The teacher shows some pens on the PPT. (课件出示: 十支红色钢笔的图片)T: They are my pens. How many? Lets count, OK?Ss: OK!Students count the pens with the teacher.Ss: One, twoten.T: Yes, ten. t-e-n, ten. Ten pens. I have ten red pens. (课件出示:ten的相关内容)(4)The teacher teaches the word “leg”. (课件出示:一只红色螃蟹的图片)T: Whats this?Ss: Its a crab. (Students can say in Chinese.) T: What colour is it?Ss: It is red.T: And it has eight legs. Lets count. One leg, two legsl-e-g, leg. (课件出示:leg的相关内容)2. Lets spell.Play the video. Students learn to read the four words on the PPT.(课件出示:教材P16 Lets spell的视频)3. Find the same pronunciation in these words.T: Whats the common in these four words? Can you find?(出示课件)Ss: 每个单词中都含有字母eT: Yes, and the letter “e” sounds “/e/” in these words.Step 3: PracticeTeaching purpose听力练习加深学生对字母e的重读闭音节中的发音的理解与掌握练习难度由浅入深,最后通过两个小游戏,真正实现寓教于乐的目的1. Listen, repeat and chant.(1)Students listen to the recording. Then they repeat and chant with it. (课件出示:Listen, repeat and chant的音频)(2)Students read the four words and then chant in groups. Ten red pens.2. Read, listen and circle.The teacher plays the recording and leads students to circle the words they hear. (课件出示:Read, listen and circle的音频)Check the answers together.3. Listen and write.Students watch the video and write the words in the correct way by themselves. (课件出示:Listen and write的视频) 4. Try to read. The teacher shows some words on the PPT. Students try to read them by themselves.(1)Pick the peachesRead “ten, pen, leg, red”. (出示课件)Teaching purpose通过让学生试读含有字母e的单词,让学生逐步掌握字母e在不同单词中的发音规则(2)Shoot at the goalRead the words aloud when kicking the balls. (出示课件) Step 4: Consolidation & Extension1. Challenge 1: Read the new words. T: Boys and girls, lets try to read these new words in groups. The group which reads more words correctly will get more scores.Teaching purpose通过让学生读绕口令来复习含有字母e的单词,并且提升学生的英语学习兴趣,活跃课堂气氛2. Challenge 2: Tongue twister. T: Now lets read the tongue twister in groups. Three minutes later, each group will have a challenge.3. Challenge 3: Listen to the words and find out the letters.Teaching purpose
