The results are as follows. About 40% of the students hold the opinion that we should cut back on the amount of things we produce to save the environment. As we all can see, large areas of the world are damaged by chemical waste. As a result, many animals and plants have died. Whats worse, there are more and more people living on the earth, making the problem more complicated. However, 60 percent of the people think differently, saying that the development of economy is beneficial for environmental protection. For one thing, many factories control the amount of pollution they produce and invest money to repair the damage they have caused. For another, they make the best of recycled materials to reduce pollution. On a personal note, I do believe a stable economy and a healthy environment can be possible at the same time. Recycling is the key to helping both sides. More effective laws should be pit in place so that those illegal businessmen ca
