It is critical to the business that the solutions delivered perform effectively and price competitively. This role is acting as team member for control system design, especially ABB Robot programming. Necessary PLC knowledge and experience is required as well. The role needs to help control PE (project engineer leader) to fulfil certain tasks during project executing.PURPOSE OF ROLEResponsibility for Robot simulation, type selection, offline programming, on site commissioning and trainingResponsibility for implementing and maintaining those equipments and systemsMAIN RESPONSIBILITIESRobot program structure design for PTA projects.Attend engineering project meetings with control PE and other team members.Communicate with control PE to help define program requirements. Generate equipments interface with PLC. Generate Functional and Test Specifications. Know control application software (Siemens Step7, Wincc Flexible, AB RSLogix , GE proficy edition etc. ). Siemens knowledge as above at least. Carry out robot and system tests on site. Provide commissioning assistance. Step on project schedule. Customer off-site visits for:- Robot start-up and commissioning.- Fault finding and repair.- Emergency restoration.- Training.- Technical support.KEY COMPETENCIES Strong technical mindset.
