牛津高中英语 模块六第四单元Module 6 Unit 4 The UN- bringing everyone closer together (reading )海州高级中学 郑晶晶1 指导思想 thoughts on design阅读教学是一种动态教学或活动教学,也是完成任务的过程。我将通过自学提出质疑,通过讨论交流展示,通过图表精讲点拨,通过表演拓展延伸等环节高效的组织阅读教学,大量地进行语言实践,使英语课堂交际化,有效地培养学生听、说、读、写的基本技能,从而提高运用英语进行交际的能力。2 设计理念1. 通过给学生创设问题情景,图文并茂,充分调动学生的积极性,使学生自主学习,让学生成为问题的“发现者”,然后学生与学生进行合作性的探究,让老师成为问题的“点拨者”。当然,在整个教学过程中,教师也是学生学习的合作者、引导者和参与者,形成师生互助,但教师要“少动”,学生要“多动”,多给学生自由发展的平台。2. 本课以一个联合国亲善大使的身份介绍联合国的概况,着重介绍联合国怎样在Helping people around the world方面的工作。通过阅读课本的基本组成部分,本节课形式多样,层层推进,极大的激发了学生的好奇心和求知欲,从而使学生对英语学习产生浓厚的兴趣,意识到英语学习的重要性,对英语学习有更大的热情与渴望,逐步文化意识,具有强烈的民族自豪感并将中国的传统精神传扬发扬光大。三:教学目标1. Leading -in Show Ss a sound and video named heal the world .(用学生熟悉的歌曲和视屏开场,激活学生的思维,活跃课堂气氛,激发学生的参与欲望) T:Seeing the pictures and listening to the song, what would you like to say about our world.S1: After listening , I feel we should protect our world .S2:We should take away from the war and we should keep the world peace.S3:we should treasure our life. S4: we should do whatever we can to protect what we have now.T: what you say is right .but do you think we can do it by ourselves?Ss: No, of course.T: We should turn to the international organization. Now we will learn a speech made by Tang Ning. 【设计意图】Heal the world是一首呼唤世界和平的歌曲,歌词倡导人们保护和珍惜我们 的环境,让战争远离,世界和平。在歌词中所唱到的,“拯救这个世界,让它变得更美好, 为你,为我,创造一个更美好的世界。”既体现了本单元的中心话题Helping people around the world. 又很自然地引出了本节课将要学习的内容,让学生主动参与,做了很好的过度,为接下的教学开了好头。同时,又不乏思想教育的渗透,和知识面的拓展维护世界和平,创造一个更美好的世界。 Step 2: sharing information (要求:在课前导学学案中,要去学习小组尽可能多寻找到有关UN的信息)Now we have a presentation between four groups.
