Lesson 19 A Dinner Date.说课稿Good morning, dear teacher. My name is Huang Mengjun. I come from Xianyang Gaoxin Middle School. Its my great honor to be here to present my lesson. My teaching topic is Lesson 19 A Dinner Date. Ill talk about it by 4 parts: Part 1 the analysis of teaching material; Part 2 the analysis of teaching methods; Part 3 the analysis of teaching procedures; Part 4 the analysis of studying ways ; Well, firstly, Ill talk about Part 1, the analysis of teaching material. 1. Status and function: The lesson is from Book 2, pulished by Hebei Education Publishing House. It is the first lesson of Unit 4. The main content of this unit is about the after-school activities.This lesson is mainly telling us Jims and Stevens after-school activities. 2. Teaching aims and demands, there are knowledge aims, ability aims and emotional aims. The knowledge aims are to enable the students to master the new words and important phrases: activity,practice, club, nothing. The abilities of aims are listening and speaking, to train the students abilities of using language, to guide the students to talk about their The emotional aims are to arouse the students interest in learning English to enable the students to describe their own after-school activities and encourage them to love their after-school activities very much. 3. Teaching key points and difficult points: The teaching key points are to enable students to use the new words, phrases and sentences in English, The difficult points are to enable students to talk about their after-school activities. Then Ill talk about Part 2 the analysis of teaching methods. Because the students in Grade 7 have learned English for several years so far. So for this lesson, I will use task-based activities, situational approach. Next is the studying methods. because the students are in Grade 7 and they are curious about new things and have a strong desire to learn better. However, their English learning level are different from each other. They need teachers help and encouragement in their after-school activities. I will Help the students to learn to study independently and learn to cooperate with others. In class, I will encourage the students to communicate with others and build up their confidence. Now Ill talk about teaching procedures. I want to talk about my lesson by five steps. Step 1 is Greeting and Warm-up. Free talk between Teacher and Students. Such as: What are you going to do tomorrow? I am going to. Step 2 Listening By this, the students can listen to the article and answer me two easy questions relating to the article. Step 3 is reading. Firstly I will ask the students to read the article and finish Activity 2 . Secondly ,I will let them read it again and answer my another more questions. By this way , they will be more familiar with the content of this lesson .Thirdly ,they will be asked to draw their mind-maps about the article. Fourthly , retell the article according to their mind-maps. Step 4 Pair work In this part, I would like to encourage the students to talk about their after-school activities. I will guide them to make up dialogues and act them out in front of the class. Step 5 Summarize and homework. Here Ill use the mind-map on the blackboard to help the students to retell the main content of this lesson. As for the homework, I will give them two kinds of homework. One is to get the students to make up dialogues and practice them five times for the students who have difficult in learning English . The
