八年级下册Unit6 An old man tried to move the mountains 第一课时 Section A 1a 2d 麻塘中心学校 沈 庆学情分析八年级学生英语学习有一定基础,学习习惯养成,学习兴趣浓厚。对于农村中学学生来说,学生了解的知识面和阅读面没有城市中学生广泛,学生的成绩呈现出两极分化,对于优秀学生来说,教师要开拓他们的视野和见识;对于潜能生来说,教师要提高他们的信心和兴趣;对于大多数中间层学生来说,教师要让他们能够扎实基础。而且八年级学生处于青春叛逆期,通常只对他们感兴趣的内容和知识关注,教师应该采取多种教学方法和教学手段,关注学生的身心发展。本单元本节课时讲述的是愚公移山的故事,通过学习愚公不怕困难,坚持不懈的精神,教育处于学习倦怠期的学生,学习要持之以恒,刻苦努力。教学目标1.语言知识目标:A.能够掌握以下单词和短语once upon a time, shoot, stone, remind, bit, silly, instead ofB.能够掌握以下句型How does the story begin?What happened next?What do you think of the story of .?2.情感态度和价值观目标:学习愚公精神,面对困难迎难而上,不畏艰险,凭借自己的力量勇敢的克服困难。教学重难点1.掌握remind, bit, silly, instead of 的用法2.学会询问故事发展的基本句型How does the story begin?What happened next?3.表达故事的人物或情节,并发表一些简单的看法和观点。I think it is a little bit .I still dont agree with you.教学方法谈论法,演示法,图片展示,听说练习法,课堂讨论法,练习法教学过程step1 Lead in播放愚公移山的视频,导入本单元主题。T: What is the name of the story?S1: Its Yu Gong moves a mountain.S2: Its a traditional Chinese story.S3: Its about an old man named Yu Gong who tries to move a mountain.T: Do you know other traditional Chinese stories?S1: Magic Brush Ma Liang.S2:Change Flies to the Moon.S3: Nuwa Repairs the Sky.S4: Hou Yi Shoots the Suns.Step2 Presentation1.展示故事图片和故事英文名字Look at these pictures on the screen, and match the name of the stories with the picture. Look at the pictures in 2a, number the pictures in order.1. Play the recording for students to listen and number the pictures. Then, check the answers.2. Work on 2b, let the students read the sentences below, explain some main sentences for students. Make sure they know what to do. Play the recording for students to circle the correct words in the brackets.
