Analysis of teaching material The topic of this period are chores and permission, and it requires the students to ask polite requests and ask for permission by the sentence structures “Could you please .?” and “Could I please .?” . Then students learn how to refuse others politely and express the reasons. Also in this period the students listening and speaking skills will be improved. II. Analysis of studentsThrough one year studying of English, students of Grade 8 have mastered some basis and listening and speaking skills, and they are transferring to reading and writing. Most of them are interested in English, but because it becomes more and more difficult some students begin to dislike this subject and others are unwilling to learn it. The students in my two classes are poor in English, and some of them are not concentrated on it, however their attitude are good and can cooperate with the teacher well.III. I have to finish homework first. Could I use your computer?Sorry. Im going to work on it now. Well, could I watch TV?Yes, you can. But first you have to clean your room.2. Ability objects:1. Also they learn how to refuse others politely and express the reasons.
