I have had it for three years how long 意思为多久 常用来表示一段时间,是对for或since等所表示的时间状语的提问。句中的动词应是延续性的-How long have you lived here?-For three years -Since 1998-Since I graduated from college 瞬间动词come go leave start arrive buy die etc不能与表示一段时间的状语连用。如 how long for和since 所表示的时间 不能说He has died or 3 years而应说 He has been dead for 3 years or 3years ago Give Ss several minutes to do this practiceSTEP 5 Listening 1b1 T:We:ll hear a conversation between Jeff and Amy You need to listen carefully to get what they are talking about Check the facts you hear2 Play the tape twice for students to listen and check the answers together3 Work in pairs to practise role -playing this conversation and make new conversation to talk about other things in the pictureStep6 Practice Teaching Activities 2a and 2b1T:Now I”ll play the tape twice for you to listen then complete the sentences with what you hear.Finally invite some students to present their answers2Teach Activity2c Lead Ss to read the sample conversation between Amy and her mother ,using the information in 2a and 2b Step 7 Consolidation Teach Activity 2dT:the following is a conversation between Linda and Amy Please read it quick to get the main idea and tell me what they are talking about.
