Do you know more transportations (交通工具)? Step 2 1. Play a game:listen and guess。Ss listen to some kinds of sound and guess what kind of transportion it is:ship、bus、train. 2. Look and guess:show some pictures and cover some parts of them,Ss guess what it is,car 、bike and taxi.3. Read and guess:1.It goes in the water .(ship,boat).2.It has two wheels (轮子), you can ride it.(bike).3.It is just like a bird. It can fly in the sky.(plane). 4.Its very long ,it goes more quickly than the car.(train).6.It is like a train but goes under the ground.(subway)4. Summary: the transportations take the train,take the bus,take the plane,take the car,take the taxi,take the boat,take the subway,ride the bike and walk.5. Present this conversation: A:How do you get to school? B:I take the bus to school. I take the train to school. I take the car to school. I take the taxi to school. I take the ship to school. I take the boat to school. I take the subway to school. I ride the bike to school. I walk to school.Ss practice in groups of four.Then ask some groups to act it out. A:How do you get to school? B:He/She to school.Step 3 Guessing gameShow some pictures of famous people to Ss.Let them guess how they get to work/get to school/get to America!Step 4: Section A 1a 1 .First ask students to look at the picture. And read the sample sentences to them. Ask them to repeat. Then let Ss say how other Ss in the picture get to school. Then add other ways in the blanks.
