Ask some students to make sentences using them.3.Present the picture of Jims family.Let the students talk about what the family members are doing in groups.Then ask two students to describe the picture in front of the whole class.Step III : PracticeTask1.Activity3a Complete Jims letter.First leave the students several minutes to do it by themselves.Then ask one student to check the answers. Finally, read the letter together.Task2.Analyze the structure of this letter.Task3.Talk about how to write a passage to describe a picture (works in groups).then ask some students to report.After that,show the students some writing skills.Finally,read them together.Step IV : Production1. Show a picture of the students to the class.Talk about what they are doing.2. Take out the pictures that the students have drawn,discuss what people in different places are doing in groups.3. Writing. Two students write about their pictures on the blackboard,the other students write them on their exercise books.4. Evaluation. Give the students some standards,the challengers correct the compositions according to the standards5.
