Can we wear a hat in class?Yes, we can./No, we cant.We have to clean the classroom.We have to follow the rules.五、Vocabulary (词汇)rule, dish, night, luck, hair, arrive, listen, fight, wear, bring, practice, relax, read, feel, remember, follow, keep, learn, quiet, noisy, dirty, terrible, strict arrive late for class, be on time, listen to music, do the dishes, make your bed, be strict with , follow the rules六、Skills (技能) :Listening for key information Scanning in reading 七、Recycling (复习巩固)go out, do your homework, watch TV, clean your room, help your mom make breakfast, in the evening, every Saturday八、教材分析本单元的话题Talk about rules.与日常生活密切相关。作为一名中学生,遵守校纪班规和社会公共场所的规章制度是必须的。在谈论规则时,一般运用祈使句、情态动词can和have to等。这是英语新课程标准中规定所必须掌握的内容,是交际英语中必不可少的项目。因此,本单元对于提升学生的学习兴趣和提高学生的听、说、读、写能力都有很大的帮助。九、教学目标(1) 能正确使用情态动词can,have to和祈使句。(2) 能熟练使用目标词汇和语言,围绕规章制度展开话题,发表自己的观点。(3). 提高学生听说读写技能。十、教学重难点:1.用祈使句的否定形式来谈论规则Rules.2.情态动词can及其否定形式cant 的意义用法与发音特点。十一、课时安排第一课时:完成Section A 1a1c 第二课时:完成Section A 2a2d 第二课时:完成Section A 3a3c 第四课时:完成Section B 1a1d第五课时:完成Section B 2aSelf Check The First Period (Section A, 1a1c)Teaching aims (教学目标)1. 学习祈使句的否定形式。 2. 学会使用祈使句表示规则。3. 能够熟练使用can和cant表示许可。4. 能和同学谈论校规。Language points (语言点)1. 词汇:1)名词n. rule, hallway, hall, fight 2) 动词v. arrive, listen, fight, wear 3) 形容词 adj. sorry, outside 4) 词组 be on time, dining hall, listen to2. 句型:What are the rules? We cant ./Dont /We have to Can we ? Yes, we can./No, we cant. What do you have to do? We have to Difficulties (教学难点)1.祈使句的否定形式。 2. 如何谈论规则。Teaching steps (教学步骤)1. Warm-up and revision(课堂热身和复习)(1)Greet the class.(2) Listen to a song called apple round. T: Do you like apples? Can we eat in class? T: Yeah, Dont eat in class. Today ,we are going to learn Unit4 Dont eat in class. Do we have other rules (其它规则)at school?【教学设计说明】通过听歌曲来导入本单元的主要话题规则。让学生自由谈论在教室里可以做的事情和不可以做的事情,帮助学生培养秩序感。2. Presentation (呈现新知识)(1) Present the new words: classroom, hallway, dining room, fight, arrive late for class, listen to music in class ,run in the hallways ,eat in classShow some pictures of the new words on the screen. Have Ss read these words. fight, arrive late for class, listen to music in class ,run in the hallways ,eat in class (2) Flash some pictures quickly on the screen. Have Ss say the words according the pictures as quickly as they can.(3) Show some pictures of different activities that are happening in the school. Help Ss understand the school rules.T: Can we run in the hallways? Dont run in the hallways.T: Can we fight? Dont fight.T: Can we listen to music in class? Dont listen to music in class.T: Can we eat in the classroom? Dont eat in the classroom. You can only eat in the dining hall.T: Can we arrive late for class? Dont arrive late for class. You must be on time.【教学设计说明】图片教学法是呈现新知识最简单有效的方法之一,尤其是比较能吸引学生眼球的图片,学生通过图片,能更加直观的理解新单词的含义。此环节重点在新单词及词组的意思和发音上,所以要尽量让更多的学生张口说,必要的机械操练是必不可少的。3. practice (练习) Have Ss use the new words to make conversations. T: Please say the new words as quickly as you can. Then make a conversation like this: A: Can we ? B:No, we cant.A: What are the rules? B: Dont Review the rules by reading together .【教学设计说明】此环节为机械操练,使不同层次学生初步掌握目标语言。机械操练是英语初始阶段教学必不可缺的部分,学生要先从模仿到初步掌握,最后才能熟练应用。机械操练时应注意着重提问成绩较差的学生,由于机械操练比较简单,因此是激发后进生兴趣,培养后进生自信的一个很好的途径。4. Work on 1a (完成1a)(1)Which rules are these Ss breaking?Write the number of the rule next to the student. (2) Talk about the picture with Ss using the target language. 【教学设计说明】通过1a的练习,使学生进一步学会运用新单词。和学生一起谈论图片,目的在于引导学生学会使祈使句表示规则。5. Work on 1b (完成1b)(1)Listen. What rules are these Ss breaking? Write the numbers after the names. (2) Student A is a new student. Student B tells Student A about the rules. Make conversations with your partner. A: What are the rules? B: Well, we cant arrive late for class. We must be on time.【教学设计说明】此环节着重是听力训练。让学生在听对话的过程中抓住关键词汇,由于前面已做了一些训练,因此学生听起来比较容易,让他们都有一次成功的喜悦和感受,这样可以增强他们的学习自信心。6. T: Lets play a game . Flash some pictures quickly on the screen. Have Ss say the rules according the pictures as quickly as they can.【教学设计说明】基于学生总体水平较低,所以设计此环节的目的在于让中等和后进生多加操练,同时也可以不断地刺激学生,激发他们的学习兴趣。7.Play another game called choose your lucky number. 【教学设计说明】设计此环节的目的在于刺激学
