大学英语(三)A级课程教学大纲本课程教学大纲依据非英语专业2013级人才培养方案制定。一、课程说明课程名称:大学英语(三) 课程编号:0301T1001总学时:48 学时 总学分:4 学分学时分配:3学时/周课程性质:必修课程先修课程:大学英语第二册 适用专业:A级非英语专业的本科生开课学期:大学一年级第二学期二、 教学目标与要求 教学目标:大学英语课程是非英语专业大学生的一门必修基础课程。大学英语的教学目的是让学生打好扎实的语言基本功,重视培养学生的英语综合应用能力,特别重视培养学生英语实际应用和交际能力,以便获取有关其专业的最新国际资料,从而开拓其专业视野及提高其专业技能,并使其在今后的工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行口头和书面的信息交流,同时培养和训练其自主学习能力,提高综合文化素养,以适应我国社会发展和国际交流的需要,使学生能够真正具有良好的国际交流能力。教学要求:本教学大纲在教学要求上分为一般要求阶段(一至二年级)和较高要求阶段(三至四年级),本课程属于一般要求阶段。现将本课程的教学要求规定如下:1)词汇 通过本课程的学习,学生的词汇量应增至5500左右,以及由这些词构成的常用词组(高中所掌握的单词和词组包括在内),并具有按照基本构词法识别生词的能力,精读量12,000词,泛读量50,000词左右。2) 语法 巩固和加深基本语法知识,提高在语篇水平上运用语法知识的能力。 3)阅读能力 能阅读与本册语言难度相当的普通题材的文章;能阅读难度教浅显材料及Readers Digest,阅读速度为每分钟80120个单词,理解中心大意,抓住主要情节或论点;能在阅读时使用基本的阅读技巧和方法,掌握中心大意,抓住主要细节,并能进行程度较深的分析、推理和判断。4) 听的能力听懂教师的课堂用语及对课文内容的讲解和延伸;听懂英语国家人士所作的难度不超过所学语言知识的讲座,掌握中心大意,理解主要内容,并能辨别说话人的态度和语气;听懂VOA慢速新闻广播和文化类节目,理解主要内容;能在12分钟内听写根据已学知识编写而成或选用的录音材料(词数180个左右,念四遍,语速为每分钟120个单词),错误率不超过8。5) 说的能力能熟练地就课文内容进行问答,并进行讨论;能就所听到的语段进行问答和复述;能就日常生活话题进行交谈;做到正确表达思想,语音、语调自然,无重大语法错误,语言基本得体。6) 写的能力在30分钟内写出150个单词左右的短文,无严重语法错误,意义表达清楚;能改写课文内容;能写简单的书信、便条和通知等应用文,格式和行文无严重错误,书写规范。7) 译的能力能翻译难度低于课文的英语文章,理解正确,译文达意,译速为每小时250英语词;能将内容熟悉的汉语译成英语,译文达意,无较大语法错误。译速为每小时200个汉字;能独立完成课程中的各种翻译练习,要求理解准确,语言通顺。8)工具书使用能熟练地使用新英汉词典等英汉词典和简易的英英词典(如Oxford Advanced English Dictionary 以及Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English),独立解决语言问题。9)文化素养 对中国文化有进一步的了解;有教扎实的英语和汉语基本功;对英美等国家的地理历史和发展现状进一步的了解。教学重点:文化背景知识、文章主题与结构、重点词汇与句法、写作技巧与小结教学难点:文章主题与结构、重点句法、写作技巧三、教学内容与目的:本课程教学内容包括大学英语(读写教程3)八个单元;大学英语(快速阅读2)三十二篇文章。由于课时所限,拟完成大学英语(综合教程2)16单元。Test Yourself:(Units 1-4),Test Yourself:(Units 5-8)由学生自学。第1-3周,9学时(学前教育1学时,读写教程5学时,口语教程3学时)A. 学前教育:总结上学期期末考试情况,帮助学生找薄弱环节,明确本学期的教学目标及教学重难点, 帮助学生制定有效的学习计划。B.大学英语读写教程2Unit1 Section A Love Without structure of the text3) Key words and sentence structures in the text4) Writing strategy and summary3. 教学难点:1) The theme and the structure of the text2) Sentence structure: using “no matter(how,
