课题名称:Unit 3 How do you get to school?姓名:杜惠霞工作单位:二十九中学科年级: 七年级教材版本:人教版新目标2013一、教学内容分析本单元以How do you get to school?为中心话题,围绕交通方式而展开,主要运用How long/How far 询问“去某地的交通方式、时间、距离。”简单描述路线。这一话题贴近学生们的日常生活,它继第三单元谈论“假日计划”后安排这样一个话题,符合学生的认知结构和年龄特征,它将为后几个单元的学习打下坚定的语言基础。而SeetionA第一课时重点是同学们掌握上学的交通方式,及花费的时间、距离等等。二、教学目标Teaching goals:1. Knowledge objects: (1)Words & phrases: get to, how long, subway, train, minute, take, by, by bus, take the bus /subway / train, ride a bike /walk. (2)Function: Talk about how to get to places, talk about the time and distance to get to some places.(3)Target language: How do you get to school? I ride a bike. How long does it take? It takes about forty minutes. How far is it from your home to school? Its about 2 kilometers.(4)Structures: “How” questions,“How long” questions, “How far” questions.(5)Pronunciation: Let the students to imitate pronunciations of the sentence stress.2. Ability objects: To learn to talk about “How do you get to school?” “How long does it take?” “How far is it from your home to school?3. Moral objects: Help Ss to build the concept of time.三、学习者特征分析 1、经过一段时间的学习,学生已经有了一定的英语基础知识和听说能力,正逐渐向读写过渡,同时,学生们对英语学习还保持着较浓厚的兴趣。在加上受新课程理念的熏陶及实践,能巩固所学知识,又能提高解决问题的能力以及综合运用语言的能力。2、从年龄特征看,学生们也很在乎他人的评价。在学习过程中通过小组训练,鼓励性评价等措施,提高学生综合语言技能。四、教学策略选择与设计1. 学习合理安排行程,并合理选用交通工具。 2. 学习设计实际调查报告中的问题,并提出解决问题的简单方案。 3. 学习逻辑表达方式,准确的表达自己的想法。五、教学重点及难点Important points:1. To learn to ask the ways of getting to school with “how” questions.2. To talk about the time to get to some places.3. S: bike, train, boat watch the video Get the Ss remember the words in the videoLet students look the part of the picture (memory the video they watched ) answer the question ,then look at the complete picture and check the answer.Answer the next question inthesameway.Step 2 Presentations 1.T: Look at this picture, think about “where” and “who” and what kind of place is this? T: “Yes, its a school, and this people they are?”T: Yes, they are students. Look at this people on the bus, how do they get to school or get to work?(teach take the bus).T: And this boy, how does he get to school?Look at the girl over there, how does she get to school?2. T: Listen and write the numbers next to the correct students in the picture (check the answer and pay attention to the use of singular). Bob takes the train to school. Mary takes the subway to school.Paul walks to school.Yang Lan walks to school.John takes the bus to school. T: From this picture we know different students get to school in different ways and do you want to know how do I get to school? T: Listen to the record two times, the first time try to finish “how” “how long”.T: How does Tom get to school? How far does it take? (Write the sentence on the blackboard, repeat it, show the use of “how long” and how to answer the question. ) (help the students to answer)It takes Tom 20 minutes to school.( write the answer on the blackboard, students repeat and try to understand the meaning of the sentence.)Do it as before 2.
