Unit 7 Its raining.【教材分析】本单元的中心话题是谈论天气. 整个单元的内容围绕天气展开听、说、读、写的活动。通过本单元的学习使学生掌握描述天气的基本词汇及对天气的提问,学会准确地表达自己对某种天气的喜好并说明原因,学会做天气预报,学生叙述在不同的天气背景下做什么。通过以上活动,使学生能够在实践中体会到学习英语的乐趣,更积极地运用目标语言,培养学生在实际生活中综合运用所学语言能力。【学情分析】作学习重点词汇: raining, sunny, cloudy, snowing , windy, hot ,cool, warm, humid,和部分现在分词。掌握描绘天气状态的形容词及现在分词,并学会其特殊疑问句、一般疑问句的用法及回答。学生描述人们在各种天气里的感受。【教学目标】1. 知识目标1 让学生记住下面的单词:rain , snow , cloudy , windy , cold , hot , cool , warm , humid , cooking 2 让学生掌握下面的句型:(1) Hows the weather like? / Whats the weather like? Its raining. (2) Whatre you/they doing? Were/Theyre watching TV. (3) Whats he/she doing? Hes/Shes cooking.(4) Is Aunt Sarah there? Yes, she is.2. 能力目标1. 能够用所学的单词和句型对天气情况进行询问和描述。2. 学生学会使用现在进行时态。3. 情感目标了解世界各地的天气情况和表达自己的观点。【教学重、难点分析】教学重点难点A 学习并掌握记汇: raining, sunny, cloudy, snowing , windy, hot ,cool, warm, humid B 熟练掌握现在进行时的用法。C 学会表达对不同天气的不同态度及原因。 D学会描述人们在不同的天气里所做的各种活动。【课时安排】1. 提醒学生在学习进行时态时,应注意谓语部分应为“be + doing”。学生常忽略“be”或“doing”。2. 参考教师用书中的文化背景,帮助学生正确理解“Hows it going?”的含义及回答。3. 注意提醒学生对天气提问的方式有两种: “ Hows the weather?” 和 “Whats the weather like?” 【教学环境与资源】教科书、卡片、录音机及课件 1 (1a) Its raining/snowing. 其中“rain”和“snow”是动词,表达下雨和下雪。2 (1c) 用英语询问天气时, “weather”前一定要搭配定冠词;回答时用 “Its”3 (3a) “Hows it going?”相当于“Howre you?”/ “Hows everything going?” 用于询问对方近况如何。Section B1(3a) thank you for, 后接名词或动名词。表示“因而感谢”;on vacation 介词短语,不可作谓语。表示 “度假”;on ones head 表示“在某人的头上”,使用介词“on”;five thousand years of history 表示“五千年的历史“,用英语表达一个明确数量时,单位词(百/千/万/百万/十亿)为单数。2(3b) take photos 表示“照相”;take a photo of, 表示“照一张的相片”。3(shelfcheck 3) Whats the weather like? 表示“天气怎样?”,其中“be like”表示“像”,“like”为介词。【教学设计建议】1 教师可根据教学目的和学生情况对教材调整,组合甚至删除本单元表示天气的词汇较多,让学生首先会读,理解意思。在运用上应多动脑筋,创设情景,让学生大量进行口语练习,配合笔头训练。2 本单元的话题较活跃,可和学生共创一些生动有趣的活动,提高英语兴趣,同时语言融入现时生活中,激发学习欲望。【课时安排】建议将本单元划分为五个课时:第一课时 (Section A 1a-1c)第二课时 (Section A 2a-3b) 第三课时 (Section B 1a-2c)第四课时 (Section B 3a-4)第五课时 (shelf check)【教学过程】Teaching steps:Step1 Freely talk and lead-inWhat is he/she doing in the picture?He/She is.What are they doing in the picture?They are.Reading a book eatingWashing the face swimmingPlaying basketball running etc.What are you doing? - Im watching TV.
