Book 4 Unit 5 Theme Parks教学目的:1) 语言能力熟悉与主题公园相关的词汇;通过快速、细读阅读训练,让学生从整体把握篇章结构,从而掌握阅读技巧和获取信息的能力。2) 学习能力:让学生在充满趣味的语境中,应用英语学习的认知策略、资源策略、交际策略,从而实现效率与方法兼顾;3) 文化品格:让主题公园作为一扇窗户,通过它学生可以扩展知识面,了解西方历史、文化,并且欣赏它,享受它;4) 思维品质:激发学生的创新思维能力、内化、运用、分析、比较的能力。教学重难点:1) 如何提升学生的综合语言能力;2) 如何帮助学生完成输入-输出的转化;教学方法:任务教学法、交际教学法教学工具:海报纸、主题公园相关照片、记号笔教学过程:Step 1: Warming-up (5 mins)(创设情境,假想我带着他们一起在游主题公园,为了激发兴趣,同时复习词汇为后面的阅读做充分准备。)T: Good morning class! Whats the time? Do you know? Ss:T:Its 10:15. You have studied for several hours this morning. Are you a little bit tired?Ss:T: (Good! You are energetic.) Do you want to have some fun right now ?Ss:T: How about going to a theme park? Lets go!PPT1:T:What can you see?Ss:T:Snow white and seven Dwarfs. Mickey Mouse. Who is she? Mickeys girl friend. Do you know her name? Minnie. And this squirrel is Chip. Do you like them?I guess you like them ,especially girls, right? But are they characters in real life?Ss:T: They are characters in fairy tales or Disney cartoons, right? Lets continue! PPT2:T:What is this man doing?Ss:T:He is making wood objects. He looks very professional. Do you think so?So we can call him a carpenter or a craftsman. PPT3:T:What are these men? Can you guess?Ss:T: They are farmers. Do they run their farm in a modern way or in a traditional way?We cant see any machine. They just do it like ancient people. Is it funny? PPT4:T:Lets see what we can do. Whats this?We can ride roller coasters. And did you notice that this is a wooden one. Can you imagine a roller coaster made of wood? Thats amazing! Dont you think so? PPT5: T:Whats this?A pirate ship. Do you dare to ride it?(brave guy!)You must be brave enough to do this.PPT6: Free-fall drops. Its terrifying to sit here right? PPT7: I dare not do it, but Im interested in fighting like the knights with a sword.Are you interested? There are so much we can see and do in a theme park. What a pity !We cant really do it right now. Fortunately, we can learn about it through words. Now open your books, and turn to page 34.Please skim the passage and finish task 1 within 5 minutes okay?Step 2: Skimming(5 mins)T: Okay?
