Unit 10 Id like some noodles.Section A (1a-2c)一、学情分析本课以谈论面条为主要内容,贴近学生日常生活,比较容易激起学生的学习兴趣,在上学期学生已经学会了可数名词、不可数名词的用法,并掌握了一定的蔬菜和肉类的词汇,为本课的学习奠定了良好的基础。二、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:1) 能掌握以下单词:noodles, mutton, beef, cabbage, potato, special, would, would like, order, bowl, size, tofu 2)能掌握以下句型:A:Whatwouldyou/he/shelike?B:Id/Hed/Shedlikesomenoodles.A:Whatkindofnoodleswouldyou/he/shelike?B:Id/Hed/Shedlikebeefandtomatonoodles.A:Whatsizebowlofnoodleswouldyou/he/shelike?B:Id/Hed/Shedlikeamediumbowl.3) 能了解以下语法:情态动词would的用法;4)能掌握订餐或叫外卖等的用语。2. 情感态度价值观目标:体会学习英语的乐趣,做到“在用中学”“在学中用”。养成一个良好的饮食习惯。三、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) 学习掌握本课时的重点词组及表达方式。2) 引导学生们做听、说的训练。2. 教学难点:通过role-play的方式掌握如何订餐等用语。四、教学过程. Warming-up and lead in 1.Ask two students to come to the front of the classroom and ask ss to describe them.2.Show a cartoon to the students.3. Show a picture of a cook. Make students guessT:“What does he do?” Ss:He is a cook.T:“What is he doing?” Ss:He is cooking.T:“What is he cooking.” Ss:.设计意图:通过展示厨师做饭的图片,导入话题, 让学生对本节课的话题有初步认识并调动好语法知识储备。. Presentation and practice(I)1. (show some pictures of food on the screen)Present some new words and expressions to the Ss.2. Ss learn the new words and expressions by themselves and try to remember them.图片展示中区分可数名词的单数、复数形式以及不可数名词,学生在学习单词的过程中注意到各类单词的不同的地方,为下面划分可数名词、不可数名词做铺垫。3. Role play the conversation(III.)Listening (1b)1.Look at the picture ,answer“Where is it?” “What are they doing?”T: In the following conversation, one man is ordering some food. Now, lets listen to the tape, find out the right noodles the person orders. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and check the answers. (听力之前先阅读材料,做到心中有数。听两遍,第一遍只听,理解大意;第二遍确定答案。)(IV)(Show the pictures of different sizes)1.Present some new words and expressions to the Ss.2.Ss learn the new words and expressions by themselves and try to remember them.设计意图:通过不同size的比较,知识形象化4.Role play the conversationA:What size bowl of noodles would you like?B:Id like a . bowl of noodles. (V). Listening(2a,2b) 1. Work on 2a; T: Now, look at the pictures on the right, listen to the conversations and check the names of the foods you hear. (Play the recording for the first time, students only listen carefully.Then, listen to the recording again, and check the names of the foods. Check the answers. )2. Work on 2b: (Play the recording for the Ss to listen and complete the sentences.) Play the recording twice. The first time Ss just listen. And the second time, Ss listen and write down the words. (If necessary, use the pause button to help Ss)3. Check the answers.(VI.) Role play1. Ask and answer questions with your partner. Use the information in 2a. 2. Show the conversations of 2a on the big screen to the Ss. 3. Make a model for the Ss. T: What kind of noodles would you like?S1: Id like beef noodles, please.T:What size bowl of noodles would you like、S1:Id like a .bowl of noodles.3. Ss work in pairs and practice the conversations.要求:学优生:能用英语熟练说出问题并作出判断。所编对话要有拓展性内容。 学困生:所编对话可以参照课本所给范例,可以简单,能够表情达意即可。III. Exercises随堂练习IV.Summary 1.
