She has long straight blonde hair.2. 情感态度价值观目标:让学生学会友好、客观地描述人的形象。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点: 掌握单词,熟练掌握描述人的形象的句型。2. 教学难点: 掌握描述人的形象的句型。三、教学过程. Lead-inShow the students a video, after watching the video, ask the students a question“Who is the magic mirror talking about?”Lead in the key sentence: “What does she look like?” Lead in the main topicdescribe peoples looks. Presentation 1. Introduce the main words and sentences.(1). Show some pictures, lead in the adjectives which describe peoples hair: long, short, curly, straight.(2). Introduce the order of adjectives:漂亮+长短+形状+颜色 Practice the sentences “What does she look like? She has long straight blonde hair.” Pay attention to the usage of “have”.(3) . Show some pictures, lead in the adjectives which describe peoples height: tall, short, medium height. Practice the sentences “What does he look like? He is tall/short/of medium height.” Pay attention to the usage of “be” and “be of medium height”.(4) . Show some pictures, lead in the adjectives which describe peoples build: heavy, thin, medium build. Practice the sentences “What does he look like? He is heavy/thin/of medium build.” Pay attention to the usage of “be” and “be of medium build”.(5). Make a summary.2. Match the words with the people in the picture. (1a)Now please look at P49, Use the letters to match the people in the picture with one of the numbered words. Write each letter next to a numbered word. You can use some letters more than once. Point out the sample answer. 3. Finish 1b. Listen and fill in the blanks in the picture above. Can you find Amys friend?. Practice 1. Pair-work. Introduce your family or friends. Take out your photos and describe one of your family members or friends. Let your partner find him or her out. Eg: A: Is that your father/mother? B: Yes, it is. /No, it isnt A: What does your father/mother look like? B: He/She is tall /short / of medium height. He/She is thin /heavy /of medium build. He/She has long /short/curly/straight hair. 2. Group-work. Talk about your favorite stars. Eg: A: Who is your favorite star? B: She is Fan Bingbing. A: What does she look like? B: She is tall and thin. She has long curly brown hair. She has two big eyes and a small mouth.3. Guessing game: Who are these people? PK Game. Divide the students into three groups: Happy, Sunny, and Lucky. Give the students some hints, let the students guess the people. Who can give the right answer, his/her group can get one point. Listening (2a & 2b)1. Listen and answer the questions. (2a) Is David tall or short? Does Sally have long or short hair? Is Peter short or tall?2. Listen again and fill in the chart.
