Teaching procedures 1.创设情景,导入新知Step 1 Organization Greet the whole class as usualStep2 Lead in Listen to a song “what did you do ” and ask students what they heard. Then show some pictures and ask students to answer my question according to the pictures. 2.师生互动,理解新知 Step 3 New wordsT: Look here. What did you do last weekend?T: I camped by the lake.(展示picture2) Read after me, camp, camp. Ss: Camp, camp. T: Lake, lake, lake T: Camped by the lake Ss: Camped by the lake T: What did you do last weekend? Ss: I camped by the lake.(Show the other pictures and teach the verb phrases, such as “camped by the lake, went to the beach, played badminton”)Step 4 Present the Past Simple Tense Present the Past Simple Tense, then talk about the difference between the irregular verbs and the regular verbs.Step 5 Guessing game Show eachhalf a picture, ask students to guess what the people did in the picture.3.尝试联系,掌握新知 Step 6 Working T: Now, open your books. Finish the activity 1a, match each activity with one of the pictures.
