Unit 10 Id like some noodles.教学设计(Section A 1a-2b)一Teaching aims (教学目标)1. 学会有关食物的新单词及点餐时所用到的新单词。2. 学会使用would you like 去学问他人的喜好。2. 学会简单表述自己的点餐内容。二Language points (语言点)1. 词汇:1) 名词n. noodle, mutton, beef, cabbage, potato, special, bowl, size,2)形容词adj. large 3)动词 v. would, would like, order 2 句型:What would you like? What kind of noodles would you like?Id like beef and tomato noodles, please.What size would you like?Id like a small/medium/large bowl of noodles.三Difficulties (教学难点)1. 新单词的拼写,区分可数名词与不可数名词。2. 点餐的基本句型。四Teaching steps (教学步骤)1. Warm-up and revision(课堂热身和复习) (1)Daily greetings to the Ss. (2) Revision (复习):Ask one student to stand up,and ask the other students:What does look like ? Ss: He is thin, he is tall, has short hair.Ask about another one the same way .T:. Who is healthier? How to keep healthy?S:We should exercise and eat healthy food every day.T: Ok. Today ,well talk about food.First show some vegetables and meat on the screen, get the students to learn the new words . T: What other vegetables do you know? Ss: Onions , parsley, lettuce【设计意图】通过复习上一单元内容,从外貌体形,及怎样保持健康来导入新课。这样设计既能帮助学生呈现新知,又能自然导入新课。简洁明了。2. Presentation (呈现新知识)(1) Present the new words: mutton, beef, noodles, chicken, carrot, potato, tomato. And the plural forms (2) Memory challenge to help check if students grasp the words.Work on 1a. Match the words with the foods. Then check Ss answers. (3) Ask some Ss to read the new words. 【设计意图】本部分旨在要求学生认知新单词,图片教学法是呈现新知识最简单有效的方法之一,学生通过图片,能更价值观的理解新单词的含义。加入记忆挑战的游戏能帮助学生更有效的记忆单词。3. Four tasksI have a noodle house and I want to work in it on summer vacation.Do you wanto have some delicious noodles for free? Do you want to meet famous people? If you want ,you must finish the four tasks.Task1. Come and help to buy some food using the sentence pattern: What would you like ? Id likeAnd work on 1a. Match the words with the foods. Then check Ss answers.【设计意图】通过这一活动,用转盘的形式激发学生的积极性,引入并练习would like句型,同时也培养学生助人为乐的精神。Task2. There are 3 specials in our noodle house .Can you introduce(介绍) them ? In my noodle house ,I have three specials .What are they?Teach students the names of noodles. And practice the sentences: What kind of noodles woul you like? Id like beef and tomato noodles.Task3 Pairwork and work on 1b (完成1b)(1)Listen and check the noodles that the person orders.(2)Check Ss answers.(3) Do you know what size bowl of noodles Obama had ? In my noodle house there are three sizes.(Small medium and large),in this way to present What size bowl of noodles would you like? Id like a small /medium /large bowl of noodles. (4)Listening and work on 2a and 2b. Have Ss listen to the tape and finish the tasks.Check the answers【设计意图】通过展示图片,让学生说出三种特色面的名称及三种尺寸碗的面条的表达,并说出自己的喜好,听力时通过改变文中人物为奥巴马,增加英语的乐趣,训练学生听懂新单词及听懂句型的能力。Task4:PracticeId like you to act in pairs as the waiter and the customer(顾客)Ask students try to use the knowledge freely.【设计意图】通过这一活动,让学生灵活运用所学知识。培养学生综合运用知识的能力。将理论运用于实践,学会到面馆点面。五Summary (总结)总结知识点的同时,教会学生将点面条的句型灵活运用成点菜机米饭等的句型,同时渗透情感教育,我们不能吃垃圾食品,应多吃健康
