Warming-up Greeting. Presentation1. New words studying(1) (show some pictures of food on the big screen) Present some new words and expressions to the Ss.(2) (show a restaurant and three specials of noodles on the big screen)Present the three specials of noodles to the Ss.(3) Ss learn the new words and expressions by themselves and try to remember them. 2. Sentences studying(1) Practice one by one -What would you like? -Id like some noodles.(2) Practice group by group -What kind of noodle would you like? -Id like.(3) Practice boys and girls -What size bowl (of noodle) would you like? -Id like a small/medium/larger bowl (of noodles), please.Textbook studying(1) Work on 1a: Read the words on the left and look at the pictures on the right. T: In the following conversation, one man is ordering some food. Now, lets listen to the tape, find out the right noodles the person orders. _ Special 1 _ Special 2 _ Special 3 2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and check the answers. . Pair work Work on 1c.1. Make their own conversations using the noodles in the picture.2. Let some pairs act out their conversations. . Listening 1.
