Revision.Use the pictures to review the Present-Progressive Tense Step2.warming up. (Look outside)Its and today,right? Do you know how to describe the weather? Ok, today were going to learn Unit7 Its raining.Step3.Presentation.Please look at the pictures. Teach the new words and read by using: Hows the weather?Its sunny/rainingread it one by one.Step4.: Summary of change rules. How nouns become adjectives (+y)Step5.Match the words with the pictures.Now please turn to page 37 .Match the words with the pictures. then teach Ss how to read these words.Step 6.Listening and fill in the chart.Listen to the conversations, pay attention to the key words “weather and cities”. Fill in the chart.Step7 Group work.Give each group 2 minutes. Then talk about the weather on the phone and show. (2 groups)Step8.Listening.Look, what are the family doing? Point to the pictures and ask “whats aunt sally /Mary/Jeff/uncle Joe doing?” Ss answer .Then listen to the conversation and number the pictures1-4. Listen again, Match the names with the activities. Check them.Step9.InterviewShow them a weather map, then talk about it.Step10.Summary.What have we learnt today?
