三年级下册Unit3 At the zoo A lets talk教学设计东阳市吴宁第四小学 郭婷一、 教材分析本课的教学内容是小学英语三年级下册Unit 3 A 部分的Lets talk。教材通过Miss White带学生参观动物园的场景让学生感知句型的语义及语用情景。提供学生要学习的核心句型是Its (so)。本部分的教学目标是要求学生能够理解对话大意,能够用正确的语音语调朗读对话,并能够在图片和教师的帮助下,在语境中运用Look at thatIts (so)来交流图片上的动物特征信息。二、学情分析动物是孩子们感兴趣的话题,三年级的学生活泼好动,纯真可爱,他们善于模仿和表演动物。教学时可通过情境的创设,设计更多更有趣味性更具互动性的教学活动,通过体验、合作等方式,提高学生的学习兴趣,让学生在情境中参与活动,运用语言,让他们感受到学习英语的乐趣。三、教学目标1、能听懂、会说并认读句型:Look at that giraffe. Wow! Its so tall! A bear! Ha! Its short and fat! 学生能够理解对话大意,能够用正确的语音语调朗读对话,2、能在语境中正确运用句型Look at thatIts (so)来交流动物特征。四、教学重点能在语境中正确运用句型Look at thatIts (so)来交流动物特征。五、教学难点giraffe的发音及对句型Its so的理解。六、教学步骤Step1 Warm-upClass beginsT: Look at this classroom. Its beautiful and there are many pictures here. You can see some animals. What animals do you see? I see a bear. What do you see?S: I see an elephant/ a panda/ a monkey/ a dogT: So our classroom is like a zoo, right? Do you want to go to the zoo? So lets go to the zoo. Ok? Now, we are on the bus. Stand up and lets do! Be fat, be fatS: Be fatT: Ok, we are so happy and we are going to the zoo. Sit down please. Ok we are at the zoo. Follow me, at the zoo.S: at the zoo!Step2 Presentation and PracticeT: whats in the zoo? Lets listen to the song. Lets be quite. Listen and look “whats in the zoo?”S: Listen to the song.T: Ok, so whats in the zoo?S: A monkey/ giraffeT: Giraffe! What is the giraffe? Look at the picture. This is giraffes head. Read itgiraffe!S: Giraffe!T: These are giraffes ears, and these are giraffes long neck! Who can try?T: and this is its body. It has four long legs. Who can say it? T: And it has two eyes, right? Who can say it?T: And it is giraffes tail, a short tail. Read it! T: ok, whats in the zoo?S: A cat/ a rat.T: A small rat. A monkey, giraffe, cat and rat oh whats that? Can you guess?S: Elephant/ panda/ bearT: GOOD! Its a bear. So which animals do you want to see?S: Bear/ giraffe/ catT: OK, we see the cat first. Lets go! Look at this cat. Its?S: its thin/ fat.T: Yes, I think its a little bit fat. Its fat. Read it. And its?S: Its small/ shortT: Yes, its short and fat or we can say its small and fat. Now look at that fat! “this cat & that cat.” Read it! Look at that/ this cat. T: Ok, look at that fat! Its so big. “so”. Its so fat! Read it with your partners!T: So next, which one do you want to see?S: Bear.T: Ok, lets see it! Look at that bear, its? S: Its big/ fat.T: So we can say its big and fat. Practice with you partner. Who can have a try?T: ok, now which one do you want to see?S: Monkey.T: Look at that monkey, its?S: its thin/ small/ short.T: So its small and thin. Or its short and thin.T: ok, which one do you want to see? Lets go to see the giraffe, its?T: WOW, its tall. And children are so excited to see the giraffe. They are so happy! Look at the giraffe! Is it tall? S: No.T: Its not so tall. Its a baby giraffe. Look at that baby giraffe. Its? Its short. This is the mother giraffe. Look at that mother giraffe. Its? Its tall. Look at that father giraffe. Its? Its so tall! You can choose one giraffe. Practice it with you partners.Step3 Consolidation and Extension T: Ok! We can see the cat, rat and are there any other animals at the zoo? A tiger/ pig/panda/rabbit Ok, lets talk about these animals. You can choose one with you partners.T: Look, Miss White and the children, they are at the zoo. What are they talking about? Lets open our English book. Page 24. They are looking at the giraffe. Read after me. Look at that giraffe. Funny, follow me again. Lets act this story out. Practice it with you partners.T: Now, close your book! The children love the animals very much! They draw the animals. And we draw our animals, too. Take out your paper, lets draw and say! Look at my? Its? I like it! Ok who can come here and show your animal?T: ok stand up, show it to your partners, four in a group. We love the animals, because they are our friends. We have a happy day at the zoo. Its time to
