Unit4 When is Easter ?A lets learn谭山镇贾坑完全小学 冯艳教材分析:此课为人民教育出版社五年级(下)第四单元第一课时内容。该单元是第三单元的延续,主要还是围绕着节日,谈论特殊日子的具体时间。从语用功能方面来说,内容与实际生活联系得较紧密,学生有话可说;从语言点方面来说,该单元中出现了序数词的用法,这为本单元的重难点,教师在教授此内容时要详细、具体,尽量让孩子在初学阶段就了解序数词的用法以及如何描述具体的日期,并会用“When is .? Its on . . ”对活动以及节日的时间进行提问并回答具体的日期。教学设计理念: 现代的英语教学要求学生听说读写全面发展,而英语知识散碎性又意味着记忆的不断重复性,那么让学生自己主动的学、有兴趣的学就变得非常重要。本次课的设计有不仅有多个游戏,也有较多情景模拟教学,这样可以激发学生的学习兴趣,让学生快乐学习,愿意学习,从而达到自主合作探究学习的状态,同时本课也体现了学生为主体,老师进行实时的引导,将主动权交给学生,让学生在自主合作探究中获得知识。Teaching objectives1.Knowledge and skills Ss can master the new words and sentences. For example: When is April Fools day/Easter ? Its on April 1th/2nd/3rd/4th/5th .And students can use these new words and sentences in their daily life .2.Progress and methodsIn the progress of teaching , students can master the method of remembering new words and sentences .3.Emotion,attitude and valuesSs love our Chinese festivals .Teaching importances:Ss master the new words (first 1th/second 2nd/third 3rd/fourth 4th/fifth 5th)and sentences (When is April FoolDay /Easter ? Its on April 1th/2nd/3rd/4th/5th .) .Teaching difficulties:Ss can use these words and sentences to describe the date .Teaching methods:Method of lecture,Situational teaching method, Exercise methodTeaching aids:Multi-mediaTeaching progress:1.Warm-up(1)Greeting (2)Enjoy a song The twelve months?(3)T:Good morning, boys and girls! Today well go into unit4 When is Easter ?.Before our class ,I will divide you in three groups,group1 , group2 and group3. If you can answer my question quickly and actively, you can get one point .Are you clear? (Ss: Yes!) Ok! Now lets begin our class!(设计意图:通过歌曲导入,有效的活跃课堂气氛,抓住学生的注意力,并且分成三大组,形成竞争奖励机制,让学生在一开始就有学好的欲望。)2.Leading-in (1)Sharping eyes T:There are 12 months. Can you remember them ? (Then play the game. )T:But,there are just 11 months . Which month is missing ?(Ss:April .)Yes, its April. In April , there are lots of special activities and days . Now, lets have a look !(2) Riddle April Fools day (设计意图:通过做游戏,再次烘托气氛,并且以复习月份的旧知导入到新课中,以一个谜语进行新课的导入和呈现。)3.Presentation (1)first T: When is April Fools day ? Ss: Its on April 1st . / :/ 讲授“ir”的发音,自然而然过渡到third 。(2)third 接着练习: January 3rd / February 3rd ,通过此练习让学生们能够明白日期的表达方式: 月份 + 序数词的缩写 Practice:T:For example : When is _ ? Its on _ . Read the date together (3)second T: Wu Yifan (100) first Sarah(98)third Amy(99) second T: When is the maths text ? Ss: Its on April 2nd.(4)fourth T:The sports meet is coming . There are four athletes to take part in the sports meet . Lets have a look ! (介绍四位动物运动员:Zip, Zoom, Tutu ,Leo ) T:Who is the _? _ is the _ . Fourth T:Who is the fourth ? Zoom is the fourth .Lets chant T:Who is the first? Leo is the first . T: Now, do you know the date of the sports meet ? When is the sports meet ?Ss: Its on April 4th .(5)fifth T:There is another special day in April ,too . Its Easter . But when is Easter ? (分别请三到四组进行演示,并及时给予适当评价,对于表现好的要给予相应的奖励和评分)(设计意图:通过小组合作,让学生们自主合作的学习课文中的重点词汇和句型,将重点句型和单词进行反复的练习。)Extension(Try your best!)1.用英文来说一说你所看到的时间!2.导入special days (提示the的用法)T:look!(教师指着幻灯片,边指边说)There are some special days in each month .Can you use these date and sentences to make a new dialogue ?
