Unit 4 Dont eat in class.(Section B 1a1d) 周青庄中学:李金荣年级:七年级 课时安排:第3课时(共5课时) 课堂类型:新授课一、学情分析 我所教的班级是农村初级中学的普通班,大多学生在小学时对英语就不够重视,只有上了初中才开始认识到学习英语的重要性。由于学生的基础薄弱,水平不一,所以我在教学的过程中会尽量让所有学生都参与到活动中来。不少学生学习态度不够认真。因此需要老师在课堂上运用生动活泼,形式多样的教学手段来激发学生的学习积极性和自信心。让他们在学习英语时乐在其中。二、教材分析本单元是继第三单元后,继续讨论学生身边的生活。因为话题熟悉,是身边的事,可以让学生们有话可说,有表达欲望。三、教学目标设计1、语言知识:Vocabulary: go out , see friends , do his homework , practice the guitar, do the dishes , watch TV , help his mom make breakfast , clean his room. on school nights every Saturday before dinner in the evening on school days after dinner after school every morningLanguage focus: What are Daves family rules? He cant go out on school nights./ He has to/must do his homework first.Can Dave go out on school nights? Yes,he can./No,he cant.Does he have to do his homework after school ? Yes, he does./No,he doesnt.Language points:1)掌握can/cant 和must/have to的用法。2)掌握一些重要短语和句型。2、语言技能:训练学生的听说技能,让学生在所创设的情境中运用所学目标语言谈论过去的经历。能用目标语言进行话题对话的同时,丰富话题语言。3、情感态度与价值:1)树立积极参与、乐于合作、勇于实践的创新意识,在自主探究过程建立自信心,体验成功。2)体会学习英语的乐趣,对参加英语课上的各种活动感兴趣。四、教学重点与难点教学重点:1.掌握重点词汇和短语。2.能够用所学语言谈论自己的家规。3.培养学生的语言表达能力,使学生较好地完成练习任务。教学难点:以问答形式与同伴讨论自己的家规。五、教学方法1、突出重点,突破难点:通过听力训练、句型展示、小组活动等多种形式反复操练重点句型,巩固所学知识,提高灵活运用能力,通过操练和幻灯片展示帮助学生更好地领会语法。2、任务型教学法:倡导体验参与,培养自主学习能力。先创设语境让他们感知,然后让学生在思考交流、合作探究中学习并使用目标语言。六、教学手段:多媒体(注:部分图片出自于百度网上图片)七、教学过程教学步骤教师活动学生活动设计意图Step1 Warm-up(Free talk)展示4张图片,以问问题的形式引出部分规则。Can you run in the hallways?Can you go out on school nights?Can you watch TV after school?Do you have to do your homework after school?一起对这些规则作出反应,回顾学校规则。用图片吸引学生全神贯注投入本堂课的话题中。提出问题让学生们自由发挥,复习学过的规则。What are the rules at our school?学生们说出规则,可抢答。如:(小组有加分)。1. Dont arrive late for class.2.Dont run in the hallways.3.Dont eat in the classroom.4.Dont listen to music in class.5.Dont fight.用学生身边的事做话题,容易引起学生的兴趣,积极参与其中。Step2 New vocabulary 1. New phrases.展示图片学习新词组。go out , practice the guitar, do the dishes, see friends, clean his room, help mom make breakfast,do homework, watch TV跟读,练读。自发起立示范朗读词组。让学生们能准确朗读词汇,纠正错误发音。on school nights, every Saturday before dinner, in the evening, on school days, after dinner, after school, every morning跟读,练读。自发起立示范朗读词组。检测学生对所学词组的掌握情况。Step3 New structures.1 Express the family rules.T:Do you have family rules? Lets look my family rules.展示图片,让学生以第一人称的口吻表达家庭规则。学生看图说家规。1. I cant talk loudly.2. I cant get up late at night.3. I cant eat in bed. 4. I cant get up late on Sundays.5. I cant sing loudly at night.6. I have to/must clean the bedroom on Sundays.7. I have to/must do your homework after school.8. I have to/must practice the guitar every day.9. I have to /must do the dishes on Sundays.10. I have to /must help mom make breakfast.用第一人称练习表达家规的句子。展示图片,让学生说出Dave的家规。T: What are Daves family rules? Do you know? Now lets look at Daves family rules.学生们说出Dave的家规。1.He cant go out on school nights.2.He cant watch TV in the evening.3.He cant see friends on school days.4.He has to do homework after school.5.He has to practice the guitar. 6.He has to help mom make breakfast every morning.7.He has to clean the room every weekend.8.He has to do the dishes after dinner.(用must替换has to)用第三人称练习表达家规的句子。2. Ask the family rules with“can”and answer.展示前三张图片,用can来提问并作回答。1.Can Dave go out on school nights.2.Can Dave watch TV in the evening.3.Can Dave see friends on school days.Yes, he can./ No, he cant.(小组展示有加分)让学生练习用can开头的疑问句并作答。3. Ask the family rules with“haveto”and answer.4.Does Dave have to do homework after school?5.Does Dave have to practice the guitar?6.Does Dave have to help mom make breakfast every morning?7.Does Dave have to clean the room every weekend?8.Does Dave have to do the dishes after dinner?Yes, he does. /No, he doesnt.(小组展示有加分)让学生练习用have to开头的疑问句并作答。4.Practice Practice the conversations with the phrases and the time.Ask and answer.降低学生对话的难度。与学生一起示范对话,然后让学生组内对话。小组内练习,然后展示。(小组展示有加分)练习使用can,have to, must进行句子的问答。Step4 Deal with 1a-1d.1. Finish 1 a.Read the rules in the chart in 1b. Then match the picturesa-hwith the rules.Finish 1a.检测本节课所学知识。2.Finish 1 b.Listen and put an for things Dave cant do and a for things he has to do.Listen to the tape,finish 1b.3.Finish 1c. Listen again. Write when Dave has to follow the rules in the chart in 1b. Choose from the phrases in the box.Listen to the tape,finish 1c.4.Finish 1 d.Talk about the rules in Daves house.Practice the conversation in pairs.Step6 Conclusion和学生一起看板书,总结本堂课所学内容。1.What are Daves family rules? He cant go out on school nights.2.Can he see friends on school days? Yes, he can./No, he cant.3.Does he have to do the dishes after dinner? Yes, he does. /No,he doesnt.4.Must he do the dishes after dinner? Yes, he must./No,he neednt.跟老师一起回顾本堂课重点。梳理本堂课所学重点知识。Step7 Homework1.Write down your family rules2.Practice the conversation with your partner.Finish the homework.巩固所学重点知识。八、板书设计What are Daves family rules?
