Section B(2a-2c)萨木于孜乡中心校 刘华兰一、【教学目标】 1.知识与技能:Enable students to learn some useful expressions. 2.过程与方法:Enable the students to have a comprehensive knowledge on Letters Writing.3. 情感态度和价值观:Encourage the students to follow the rules around us and make their own rules.二、【教学重点】 To help the students learn to analyze the writer idea and list the important supporting points while reading. 三、【教学难点】To encourage the students to learn to be willing to exchange minds and ask for advice when they have pains in daily life四、【教学方法】Task-based language teaching;Student-centered approach;Individual and group work五、【课时安排】一课时六、【教学过程】Step 1 .Lead inWarm up by reviewing the school rules in and talking about the students breaking the school rules.Dont eat in the classroom.Dont arrive late for class.Dont run in the hallways.Dont play sports in the classroom.Dont fight.【设计意图】通过对话,复习相关的校规,轻松进入谈论规章制度的语境,利用PPT展示书面规则和违反规定的情境,让学生容易地运用目标句型,运用情态动词口语表达出书面的校规。Step2 Reading 11.Before Reading Ask the students to discuss the topic about the passage we are going to read. And divided them into groups to finish the task. Teacher:When you are unhappy about something, who do you like to talk to, your parents, your teachers or your friends?Can you tell us?【设计思路】通过话题讨论,学生们可以畅所欲言,表达心声,锻炼了学生的英语口语表达能力。且通过同学间的交流,使学生感受到大家都会有不开心的时刻,遇到不顺心的事可以寻求帮助,向他人倾诉。2.Fast Reading The teacher read the first letter,let the students find the answer to the question: How does Molly think of the rules?(Its terrible.)3.Careful reading1 )To ask the students to read the letter quickly and circle the rules for Molly. And then the teacher will write the rules for Molly one by one when the students share their answers. 【设计思路】通过阅读指导,让学生独自找出有关Molly的规则,是对学生快速汲取文章主要信息能力的培养。同时,让学生回答问题是以第三人称的方式转述,锻炼了学生的语言输出能力。2)Show these rules on the screen.let students read them together.4.After Reading Work in groups. Read the letter again and try to find the important and difficult phrases.And try to find some important sentences.5.Listening. Listen to the letter,try to fill in the blanks to complete the letter.Step 3 Reading 2 1)We have known Molly has so many rules. What does Dr. Know think of Mollys rules? Let the students read the second letter and try to find the answers to these questions. 2)Read Dr. Know s letter again and answer the questions:Step4.Practice Read the letters carefully and complete the sentences with have to / must/ can or cant.Step 5 Rules-making Giving students some example posters of rules and then ask them to make their own rules in their groups. Teacher:Now you can make your own rules for our school , our library or your family. Students talk about the rules and then make it with their group members. After that, each group will choose a student to show their posters to the whole class in front of the class.【设计思路】通过制定规则,学生在小组内激烈讨论并自己制定规则,可以锻炼学生的自我管理意识;通过小组合作,可以锻炼学生的团队合作精神。Step 6 Summary Make a summary of the whole passage and ask the students to find the similarities of the two letters.
