Some people think we should return to? Traditional family values but others think this would lead to many problems. Discuss both sides and give your own opinion. Most of us are busy with our own pursuits every day. As a result, we are not as closely connected with our family members as before. It is a well-known fact society should develop to a more progressive level, which means returning to traditional values may not be the right direction. To some extent, many concepts representing the traditional family values are no longer compatible with the modern lifestyle. People in traditional families tend to obey rules blindly and lack individuality, which are regarded as the basic requirements for survival in the age of change. Consequently, they may find themselves incompetent when they look for jibs as no employers wants robots without an active mind today.More importantly, they may live more stressful lives than others because they do not dare to say no to their elders. The real ideas hidden at their heart may even leave them depressed is the cultural change today. We surely do not want to live in a family that is just replica of a family centuries ago.Admittedly, traditional family values give us stronger family bonds, which are like a safe haven for life. Children living in such families would know how to behave properly. However, I find hard to imagine members can enjoy the family bonds between each other when they cannot freely express how they feel.To conclude, we should uphold some traditional concepts such as the respect between family members. Meanwhile, we should also appreciate family members individuality. There are more problems with students behaviour in many countries. What are the causes and what are your solutions?Poor student behaviour seems to be an increasingly widespread problem and I thinkthat modern lifestyles are probably responsible for thisIn many countries the birth rate is decreasing so that families are smaller with fewer children These children are often spoilt not in terms of love and attention because working parents do not have time for this but in more material waysThey are allowed to whatever they want regardless of priceand to behave as they please This means that the children grow up without consideration for others and without any understanding of where their standard of living comes fromWhen they get to the school age they have not learnt self-control or disciplineThey have less respect for their teachers and refuse to obey school rules in the way that their parents didThe first solution to the problem lies with families who need to be more aware of the future consequences of spoiling their childrenPerhaps parenting classes are needed to help them to do this and high quality nursery schools could be established The government should fund this kind of parental support because this is no longer problem for individual families but for society as a wholeWe need more female leaders in politics to reduce violence. To what extend do you agree or disagree? Many are concerned about male leaders dominance in politics and believe more female leaders are needed. Personally , I do not think female leaders are necessarily superior to male leaders in terms of the political will to reduce violence.First of all, I don not think the gender of leaders is the most important factor in promoting peace. Leaders who think of economic development as their priority will, regardless of their gender, seek peace for their nations. For instance, unlike George W. Bush, President Obama has made it clear that the U.S would pull out its troops from Iraq because of it would be a wise choice to help the American economy recover from recession. Moreover, peace-loving leaders are also concerned about their citizens living conditions. They refuse to put their people at risk by taking violence actions towards other countries, not because of their gender, but because of the serious damage any war involves.Above all, why do I not think gender is the main factor in a leaders attitude about violence is that in most modern societies, the political system restricts their leaders power to carry out violent plans. Therefore, one single leaders power would not be so influential that it can lead to an unjust war.Admittedly, there are male leaders who are belligerent. People suffer from merciless actions, which discourage peace and causes hatred. However, I still firmly believe that any leader who takes the improvements of their peoples living conditions seriously will try to avoid violent actions that threaten peace, regardless of his/ her gender. Some people think women should be allowed to join the army, the navy and the air force just like men. To what extend do you agree or disagree? Some people suggest that the status quo should be altered and ladies should be allowed to join the army forces. I fundamentally agree with their proposal-for three reasons.History has repeatedly shown that women are fully capable of performing well in the military. Historically, there were a host of valiant women soldiers whose achievements put their male counterparts to shame. One need only look at the world-renowned Joan of Arc and Mulan to see how exceptionally ladies could perform on the battlefield. In my observation, their determination, courage and dignity have been and are still being admired by male soldiers and civilians alike throughout the world today.Further, from an enlightened standpoint, female patriots should be granted the equal right to go to the front line when their motherland is involved in a war. Admittedly, gender inequality was a highly controversial issue in the twentieth century. However, now ten years into the new millennium, women can learn and teach, work and supervise, vote and voted in most countries just like men. Given this sweeping progress in gender equality, there is really no sense in denying them the right to stand up f
