新目标英语七年级下册Unit 2 What time do you go to school? Section A 1a-2d 教学设计 城南中学 卢柳萍一 学情分析七年级学生大部分是处于13、14岁左右的学生,他们仍具有许多小学生的特性。他们大部分学生在小学已学习了三年的英语,多数学生对英语很感兴趣,有学习英语的愿望和兴趣,乐于参与各种英语实践活动。具体表现主要有:1. 乐于模仿,敢于开口,积极参与课堂活动;2. 乐于接触英语歌曲、读物等,积极参加课堂上的游戏竞赛活动;3. 能在小组活动中积极与他人合作,相互帮助,共同完成学习任务。对于目前本校学生的实际水平来说,有不少学生对学习英语热情不高,英语水平也参差不齐。针对存在问题,本节课的教学设计从学生的实际水平出发,通过歌曲、游戏、小组活动等来调动课堂气氛,提高学生参与活动的意识。二 教材分析1. 教学目标1)知识目标:通过看图说话、师生问答、游戏、角色扮演、小组活动等形式,掌握本课up, brush, tooth, shower, usually, fifty等单词和get up, get dressed, take a shower, brush teeth, eat breakfast等动词短语。 2)能力目标:在师生问答、角色扮演等中让学生熟练运用句型What time is it now? 和What time do you usually ? 并能用英语谈论、描述自己的日常作息时间;并学会用频率副词谈论自己的日常生活及作息习惯;3)情感目标:学会更合理地安排自己的学习和课外活动时间,培养良好的作息习惯和守时习惯;让学生了解同学、朋友等人的时间安排,培养同学之间和睦相处、互相帮助、团结友爱的文化意识。2. 教学重点1)掌握本课的英语单词和短语;2)掌握本课时句型What time is it now? It is /What time do you usually ? I usually at .3)时间的读法(根据学生的水平,本节课主要掌握顺读法)3. 教学难点1)what time引导的特殊疑问句。 2)谈论自己日常的作息时间和活动。三 教学方法任务型教学法;启发式教学法;情境教学法四 学习策略情感策略、认知策略、交际策略五 教学准备多媒体课件、钟表、任务表格六 教学过程Step1 Warming up: 和学生进行Free talkT: Its nice to spend time with you all again. Lets enjoy our happy time. Oh, its time for our class. What time is it now? Let me see. Yeah, its 8 oclock. Are you ready? S: Yes!T: Lets go!设计意图: 通过轻松自然的对话方式,把学生的注意力引入课堂。老师用快乐的心情感染学生,激发学生的学习热情,而且自然地引出时间的句型,为下一环节的内容做铺垫。Step2 Listen to a song of time. (PPT) Play a video and listen to a song. (时间歌) T: First, lets enjoy a wonderful song. It is a song of time. Lets sing along with it.设计意图: 用一首欢快的歌曲,调动学生的情绪。并鼓励学生跟唱,感受歌曲里面的歌词含义,对学生进行情感教育,也让学生明白本节课学习内容跟时间有关。Step3 Presentation 1. Talk about the time. T: Now, we are going to learn about time. Could you tell me what time it is? Lets do it together. T: What time is it now? S: Its two oclock. / Its six oclock./ (Lead Ss to read the new word oclock, and its meaning.) T: It is in the morning, so we can use a.m. (Explain what a.m.means.) Its six a.m. means Its six oclock in the morning. It is in the afternoon, so we can use p.m.( Explain what p.m.means.)Its six p.m. means Its six oclock in the afternoon.2. Practice how to say the time correctly.T: The whole class look at the six clocks and say the time by yourselves first. Then volunteer to stand up to tell us what time it is one by one.设计意图: 从歌曲自然引入了“看时钟说时间”的环节,从简单的正点时间慢慢过渡到零散的时间,由易到难,有利于帮助学生正确说出时间和培养学生认真观察的态度。学生主动起立回答有利于调动其他学生积极回答问题。3. Check how well the students do. (考考你)T: Now, its time to call your names to tell us the right time. I want to check how well you do.设计意图: 提问个别平常成绩一般或较差的学生,检查他们对时间读法的掌握情况,根据回答情况给予鼓励和帮助。并适当增加一些口头的练习,适时对他们进行表扬。4. Play a guessing game.T: You all do a good job. Now, lets play a game. This is an interesting game. A student comes to stand by the teachers desk, use this big clock to make different times, and if you know how to say the time, stand up quickly to tell us all. Volunteer: What time is it now? (e.g. 9:00/ 8:20) S1: It is nine oclock. S2: It is eight twenty. 设计意图: 通过游戏来竞赛时间,不仅可以检查学生对时间顺读法的掌握程度,而且也调动了课堂气氛,提高学生参与活动的积极性。5. Learn some important phrases in 1a.T: Every morning, the time is six thirty, what must we do?S: We must get up.T: Yes! We must get up quickly. What must we do next? Use the pictures on the screen to lead the students to say out the activities of a day.S: We must get dressed, brush teeth, eat breakfast, Ask the students to read the important phrases and new words twice.设计意图: 用图片中的活动来学习1a 里面的重要短语和新单词。通过读帮助学生认知新知识,落实知识目标。6. Match the activities with the pictures in 1a. T: Look at the clocks. Can you say the time in English? S: Yes. Its six oclock/six ten/ six fifteen/ six twenty/ six thirty/ six forty/ six fifty/ seven oclock/ seven fifteen/ seven twenty/ seven thirty/ seven forty. T: Good job. Look at the pictures. Can you say the activities in English? S: Yes. go to school, get up, get dressed, brush teeth, eat breakfast, take a shower. .T: You are so great! T: Now match the activities with the pictures from a to f. After students finish it, the teacher checks the answers with the students together.7. Listen and match the times with the actions in 1b. (让学生连线,对词汇和动词词组进一步操练和巩固。)T: Lets do some listening. Try your best to catch every word and understand every sentence. After listening, draw lines from the clocks to the pictures. You may also write down the times after the phrases in 1a. You must read after the tape for the second time. Ask some students to show their answers one by one. Then the teacher shows the right answers to the students.设计意图: 让学生先说出时间和图片中的活动,有利于做1b的听力。听第二遍时让学生跟读,目的是让学生能够正确地读、说新词汇。通过做听力练习,可以锻炼学生的听力,帮助他们巩固新学的单词和句型。8. Ask and answers questions T: 1. What time does Rick usually get up?2. What time does Rick usually brush teeth and take a shower?3. What time does Rick usually eat breakfast?4. What time does Rick usually get dressed?5. What time does Rick usually go to school?设计意图: 通过对听力材料进行提问,让学生更深刻理解听力内容,为下面的对话操练打下良好的语言基础。Step 4 Practice the conversation.T: Student A is the interviewer. Student B is Rick. Ask and answer questions about Ricks day. Look at the pictures and the clocks carefully and then practice conversations with your partner. Work in pair.Sample:S1: What time do you usually take a shower, Rick?S2: I usually take a shower at six forty.S3: What time do you usually get dressed, Rick?S4: I usually get dressed at seven twenty.Ask some pairs to make the conversation according to the different times and activities.设计意图: 分组对话练习,不仅让学生充分认识和掌握本课时的重点句型,而且有利于提高学生说的能力。Step 5 Listen and finish the tasks in 2a and 2b. T: Jim has a big family. How many brothers and sisters does he have? And how many showers do they have? Listen to the conversation and complete the tasks in 2a and 2b.2a: Jim has _brothers and _sisters. Jims family has _ shower Ss: Jim has two brothers and two sisters. T: Here is a short passage about Jims familys shower time. Try your best to fill in the blanks and get better understanding about this passage. Write down the missing words on the paper.Jim a big family. He has brothers and two sisters, but they only have one shower. Maybe(也许 ) you think its for them to take a shower. No, _ they have a shower schedule. His brother Bob takes a shower at 5:30. Then his sister Mary a shower _5:50. Next his brother Jack a shower at 6:15, then its _ turn. Talk about yourself.T: Now, its time to talk about ourselves. I want you to work in four and talk about yourself according to the chart I give you. You should write down the different times and then tell the other three partners about yourself. Last, one student of your group represents you to make a report.Show your report here!Report: I always get up at 6:30. Its not early. I _设计意图:学生根据自己的实际情况写下活动的不同时间,并向同组同学作介绍。小组合作的方式有利于培养学生团结合作的意识,并发挥互助精神,让学英语有困难的学生在合作过程中得到理解和帮助,有助于他们开口说英语。Ask some students to represent their groups to show the reports to the whole class. 2. T: Here is a wonderful report. Lets read it together. What activity does every picture have? And answer a question: Does the boy feel happy every day?设计意图: 文段中的活动都用图片来代替,学生通过观察图片,结合本节课所学的动词词组,准确地表达出图片中的活动,这一环节既是对上面小组活动的总结,也是提升了学生说的能力。Step 8 Reading in 2d. 1.
