Module 1 Unit 3 Dying to be thin课堂教学过程设计 湖南耒阳一中 谢新平一、教材分析：本单元以looking good, feeling good为话题，旨在通过单元学习，使学生了解如何气色好，感觉好。从Amy冒着生命危险减肥的事例，让学生深刻领悟出健康的价值。通过阅读讨论了解保持健康的各种方法，鼓励和帮助同学朋友积极参加体育锻炼，合理饮食，养成良好的生活习惯。二、教学目标： 1.通过阅读让学生了解三封信的大意，让学生能就课文内容进行复述和问答。2.使学生理解保持健康的重要性。三、教学重点、难点：1.理解健康的重要性并能正确对待减肥。2.理解文意并复述大意。四、教学方法：多媒体教学。五、课堂教学过程Pre-class activity教师播放英文歌A Big Big Girl ，活跃气氛，为上课作好准备。Warming-up1. Ask students to talk about the pictures and answer.Do they look good and feel good?Then show some pictures including a fat person. （Students may laugh）T: Do you feel its interesting?
