Students are required to listen to the song carefully and tell the teacher what they hear.Step 3 New words1、Teacher shows some pictures about different weather and asks the students to describe the weather.T: Hows the weather in Beijing?Ss:Itssunny.(help Ss answer)2、Practice the new words.3、The same way to teach the new words:windy,cloudy,rain,snow.4、Finish Activity 1a on Page 37:match the words with the picturesa-e&check the answers.Step 4 Listening practice(Activity 1b.2a and 2b)1、Get students read the city names in 1b,especially:Moscow,Toronto,Boston.2、Ask students to listen&write the city names in the boxes in 1a.3、Gourps present their answers.4、Ready 2a and 2b,check the answers in the groups.Step 5 Pair work(1c)1、Students are required to work in pairs to talk about the weather accroding to the pictures in 1a.A:Hi!Hows the weather in Beijing/?B:Its sunny/2、Students act out their conversations.Parise the ones who do well.Step 6 Do the exercise Ask the students to do the exercise, and check the answers in the class,let the students say the reasons.Step 7 Summary&homework1.
