OK, now, lets chant this song together.Sam likes brown bread.Sally likes white bread.Sam sweeps the room.He has a broom.Sally goes shoppingTo buy a new umbrella.2. Let the students look at some pictures and learn some new words. Then give them some minutes to remember these words. After that, check them. T: What are they? Ss: They are rain clouds.T: What is it?Ss: It is thunder and lightning.T: What is it?Ss: It is storm.T: What is it?Ss: Its an umbrella.T: What is it?Ss: Its a raincoat.Step 2. Self-study Let students finish 3 tasks in their group.Task1: Find out what you dont understand.Task2: Find out the key points.Task3: Translate the text.Step 3. Interaction1. Let students finish the 3 tasks and answer these questions, then the teacher explains the text.heavy 修饰rain,表示雨下得大,属于固定搭配;strong 修饰wind,表示风大,属于固定搭配;put on 表示穿上的动作;look at 表示看的动作;must 和can 都是情态动词,后接动词原形;Dont stand near the window. 是否定祈使句。2. Now, listen to the tape and follow it. Let the students imitate the pronunciation and the tone of the tape.Step4.
