贵阳市花溪第一中学 廖晓娇教学设计课文标题:Unit 5 Do you want to watch a game show?单元名称:Unit 5 Do you want to watch a game show?教材版本:人教版 Go for it授课年级:八年级上 单元教学思路1.单元教材分析本单元重点是掌握评价电影、电视节目的单词和句型。通过本单元的单词学习,学生可以自由讨论自己喜爱或不喜爱的电视节目,用较为灵活自主的句型和丰富恰当的形容词对其进行评价;能够写出较为完整、理由充分的影评;在日常生活中能与他人自主讨论电视、电影等传媒节目。在本课中,句型的学习是重点,形容词的认知和学习也是一大重点。教师在教给学生不同形容词意义的同时也应说明使用范围,避免误用和滥用。由于本课涉及娱乐内容,比较容易吸引中学生的兴趣,因此课堂气氛预期较为活跃。因为涉及传媒娱乐,教师可以预备丰富的资源对学生加以展示。本单元以影评、电视评论中单词和句型学习和运用为重点,共设计了三个部分的内容:Section A:该部分一共有三个模块,第一模块是基本句型和单词短语的导入,以对回话、听力的基础训练为主。第二模块以听力和口语训练为主体,巩固上一模块的知识点。第三模块以自主短文填空、开放性问题、小调查为主,自主性较高。Section B:该部分一共有三个模块,第一模块主要是新单词短语的认知、听力和口语能力的训练。第二模块阅读和口语练习为重点,将对事物喜好的谈论上升到书面写作层次,主要训练学生的阅读能力。第三模块以一篇短文填空开头,训练学生的逻辑思维能力,随后是与之紧密配合的写作训练,考验学生的英语综合运用能力。Self Check:该部分有三个模块:第一模块根据提示的单词短语造句,训练学生的语言逻辑能力,检查其对本课知识点的掌握程度,是一种综合性的考察类型;第二模块是主管类型的题,在课程即将结束之时让学生轻松一下,发散思维,灵活运用。2.教学思路1. 有名词和形容词较多较杂,学会可能会觉得不是很好记,这就需要灵活运用单词记忆策略,进行分类记忆。可先对专用名词单独记忆,因为这些名词涉及娱乐传媒,学生比较有兴趣,可以在预习时通过收集同类词进行初步记忆,然后在小组讨论、竞赛等活动时进行巩固加强。名词突破后,形容词可以在口语训练中通过重复得以加强。2. 本单元的语法可以归类为单词短语单元,更多的是考查语言综合能力。所以需要耐心地指导学生充分调动思维,根据自己的知识体系来进行阅读、听力、口语训练。3. 本单元对学生的口语训练主要集中在句型运用的准确度上,在所创设的不同情境中,给学生更多自主表达的机会。单元教学目标部分项目知 识 细 目Section A词汇sitcom news educational plan hope discussion stand happen may expect joke comedy要点1. think of的用法(辨析think of与think about)2. plan的用法3. hope to do sth.的用法4. find out的用法(辨析:find out, find与look for)5. around the world的用法6. expect的用法(辨析:expect,hope与wish)7. one day的用法Section B词汇meaningless action cartoon culture famous appear become rich successful might main reason film unlucky lose ready character guy army要点8. come out表“出现;上演;发行”的用法(拓展:come out的其它用法)9. be ready to表示“愿意做某事”的用法(拓展:be ready to的其它用法)10. try ones best的用法11. a pair of的用法(拓展:名词与pair一起使用做主语的用法)12. a symbol of的用法13. come from的用法14. dress up的用法(拓展:其它表示“穿”的用法)15. take ones place表“代替”的用法(拓展:take ones place的其它用法)16. do a good job的用法(拓展:Good job!的用法)中考考点1. come out的用法 2. put on的用法3. may做情态动词的用法4. 考查词汇 单元语法动词不定式做宾语-Do you want to watch the news? 你想看新闻吗?-Yes, I do./ No, I dont.是的,我想。/不,我不想。-What do you plan to watch tonight? 今晚你计划看什么?-I plan to watch Days of our past.我计划看我们过去的日子。-What can you except to learn from sitcoms? 你期望从情景喜剧中学到什么?-You can learn from some great jokes.你可以学到一些好笑的笑话。-Why do you like watching the news? 你为什么喜欢看新闻?-Because I hope to find out whats going on around the world.因为我希望弄清楚世界各地现在正在发生什么事情。-Do you want to watch a movie? 你想看一部电影吗?-I like to watch action movies because theyre exciting.我喜欢看动作电影因为它们令人激动。交际用语1. 询问某人的计划What do you want to?你想要?Do you plan to?你计划吗?2. 询问别人的感受及应答:(1)-What do you think of talk shows?你认为脱口秀怎么样? -They are OK.还可以。(2)-What do you think of talk shoes?你认为脱口秀怎么样? -I dont mind them./ I cant stand them!/ I love watching them!我不关心它们。/我不能忍受它们!/我喜欢看它们!(3)-Theyre boring!它们很无聊!重难点突破重点:1. 掌握询问他人喜好程度和回答他人询问的句型并能灵活运用到生活中。2. 能正确恰当地选用形容词。突破方法:引导学生通过大量练习熟练掌握精准地掌握句型。有的学生分不清什么时候用what,什么时候用how,这就是基础不牢的表现。对于形容词的选用,可以在教学开始的单词讲解中就应该将单词的用法讲解清楚,并通过练习让学生熟悉并掌握。本节课的开放性问题较多,需加大监督力度,在讨论期间要确保学生在用英语交流关于本课的问题,讨论结束之后在时间允许的情况下尽可能多地让学生分享自己的观点,尽量让每个学生都有发言的机会,让每个学生的口语都可以得到锻炼。难点:影评写作。突破方法:本课难点主要体现在阅读和写作,而写作更是难上加难,因为本课的写作对逻辑性要求非常强,对于学生的综合素质要求很高,所以必须耐心认真批改每篇作文,其次是要细心,许多小的错误不容易被发现,开始只是口语的错误,久而久之就带到写作中了,所以在最初几个课时的口语训练时要格外细心。还可以让基础较好的学生自由发挥,让基础较差的学会依照3a仿写,因材施教。 教材课时分配Period 1: Section A 1aGrammar FocusPeriod 2: Section A 3aSection B 2aPeriod 3: Section B 2b2ePeriod 4: Section B 3aSelf Check教学设计The First Period ( Section A 1aGrammar Focus)Teaching Aims1.
